Growing Up, I Always Dreamed About My Name Being In Lights. “Short Quay”
At 10 Years Old, I Was The Only Boy To Try Out For My School Dance Team. They Put Me As An Alternate. My First Performance, I Had The Crowd On Their Feet! They Moved Me As Co-Captain Of The Team. That Day Forward, I Said I Would Be Determined To Go After What I Want.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Has It Been A Smooth Road? That depends on the street. I learned that I had to have tough skin & quick. Being in entertainment is an open world for judgement. From directors to social media. Some auditions, they would sometimes go with the other person because of different things, like height, look, sound of my voice. My mannerisms, “what they heard” the list goes on.
