Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrew Foah.
Hi Andrew, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My journey with TrackIT began organically about five years ago when I started handling invoicing for friends in the music industry—audio engineers, producers, videographers, and photographers who needed administrative support. What quickly became apparent was a troubling pattern: these talented creatives were consistently waiting 30, 60, sometimes even 90 days to receive payment for completed work. Candidly, sometimes they never received payment for services provided.
This payment gap wasn’t just an inconvenience—it was actively hindering their ability to sustain and grow their art into a true business.
Watching friends struggle financially while waiting for payments from major companies felt fundamentally wrong. These are artists and technical professionals who need consistent cash flow to invest in equipment, collaborate with others, and simply pay their bills. That realization was the catalyst for TrackIT Services.
Today, TrackIT has evolved from a simple invoicing service into a specialized financial solution for the creative sector. We now manage finances for creative professionals, advancing funds on approved invoices so artists can focus on their craft while maintaining healthy cash flow.
We’ve processed over $1.2 million in creative invoices to date, collecting from the biggest companies in the entertainment world—Sony Music Entertainment, Warner Music Group, Universal Music Group, and others. But what truly matters is seeing our clients thrive because they’re no longer held hostage by payment delays.
What began as a favor for friends has transformed into a targeted financial service addressing a critical need in the creative economy—prompt payment for the talent behind the entertainment we all enjoy.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Has it been a smooth road? Far from it. I created an operational process that began with difficult conversations and countless learning experiences as I positioned TrackIT to entertainment industry giants who had never heard of us before.
I’m grateful to JRich ENT, whose partnership was instrumental in getting us to where we are today. His work prowess and commitment to serving the creative community has been transformative for TrackIT’s development and reach.
JRich brought not only industry expertise but also invaluable connections that helped establish credibility when we were first approaching major entertainment companies. His deep understanding of the challenges facing behind-the-scenes creatives helped shape our service model to address real pain points rather than theoretical problems.
What sets JRich apart is his genuine advocacy for creative professionals. He’s been a tireless voice ensuring that our solutions truly serve the community rather than just extracting value from it. This authentic commitment resonates with our clients, who can sense when someone genuinely understands their struggles.
Our partnership exemplifies how complementary strengths can create something greater than the sum of its parts. While I focused on building our operational infrastructure and financial processes, JRich helped forge relationships and build trust within a community that has experienced its share of broken promises.
As we continue expanding TrackIT’s services and community, JRich’s vision remains a guiding influence. Together, we’re working to transform not just individual careers but the broader ecosystem of how creative work is valued and compensated in the entertainment industry.
This collaboration demonstrates what I’ve come to believe deeply: meaningful change happens through partnership, not isolation. JRich’s impact on TrackIT stands as proof that the right alliance can accelerate a mission far beyond what any individual could accomplish alone.
These challenges taught me fundamental life lessons. No meaningful venture can be scaled alone—you need support and community. The creative professionals who have entrusted me to handle their communications with major clients and advance their payments form the backbone of our growth today.
We’re stronger as a united community working to ensure fair payment and clear expectations from the biggest companies in the world down to the creative—the talent that launches music artists into fame and stardom.
Audio engineers, producers, and other behind-the-scenes creatives rarely receive public recognition. The least we can do is ensure they receive fair compensation, timely payments, and transparent expectations. This mission drives everything we do at TrackIT.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
TrackIT is the first specialized “factoring” service dedicated exclusively to the music and entertainment industry. We provide financial solutions for the creative professionals behind the scenes—audio engineers, producers, videographers, photographers, and other talents whose work shapes the entertainment we consume.
Our core service is advancing payments to creatives against approved invoices from major entertainment companies. Rather than waiting 30, 60, or even 90 days for payment—a standard practice that places enormous financial strain on individuals—we provide immediate funds, then handle the collection process from major clients like Sony Music Entertainment, Warner Music Group, and Universal Music Group.
What truly sets TrackIT apart is our industry focus. While factoring exists in many sectors, we’re pioneering this financial model specifically for music and entertainment professionals. We understand the unique payment structures, relationships, and challenges of this industry because we’re deeply embedded within it.
I’m most proud of the tangible impact we’ve made on individuals’ lives. Many talented creatives were previously forced to take second jobs or leave their creative industry entirely because of unreliable cash flow. TrackIT has helped them build sustainable careers without these compromises. Beyond advancing funds, we help negotiate better rates and provide guidance on scaling their businesses—creating a foundation for long-term success.
Our brand stands for bringing transparency, reliability, and fairness to an industry historically known as the “wild west” when it comes to payments.
We’re replacing unpredictability with consistency, creating a more sustainable ecosystem that benefits both the creative professionals and the major companies that depend on their talent.
What began as a mission to help friends has evolved into a movement to transform how financial transactions happen in the creative economy. Every invoice we process represents not just a payment but a creative professional who can now thrive in their artistic career.
