Community Highlights: Meet Ravi Persad of Embry Security

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ravi Persad.

Hi Ravi , thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I joined the Marines at 17 years. I served in the Marine Corps for nearly a decade. During that time I was able to understand that “protector instinct” due to the training they provided us. I’ve always had a passion to help people, especially those who were unable to help themselves. After nearly a decade serving my country, I wanted to have a greater impact in my community and I opened a security firm in order to help others and channel that passion of helping others. From there, I’ve had the support of follow veterans, team members, and mentors that allowed us to further develop our security program and expand our operations to other cities.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely not a smooth journey. It is a tough marathon. I’ve faced many challenges along the way. Crime is constantly evolving and we must continually evolve with it.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Embry Security ?
At Embry Security, our mission is to provide unwavering protection and peace of mind through proactive security solutions, highly trained personnel, and cutting-edge technology. Embry Security takes the experience from nearly a decade of the Marine Corps, and serving in the Department of State protecting Ambassadors and Embassies around the world and deliveries those strategies to protect business and personnel.

Embry Security provides different services such as security cameras, armed and unarmed officers, executive protection/bodyguard services, bulletproofed transportation vehicles, and cybersecurity services.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
Luck is for leprechauns. There was no luck in this journey. This is attributed to countless hours of dedication and training that we owe to our clients and community.
