Today we’d like to introduce you to Diamond Hill.
Diamond, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Growing up, I always had the gift of communication and therapy, but at such a young age I had no idea what that meant! I spent the majority of my childhood encouraging my peers, mainly my female peers, to be strong and to be beautiful. Yet, I still had no idea what that meant. It wasn’t until I graduated college that I truly looked my self in the mirror and explored who I was and what my purpose was.
I surveyed my actions and the subtle things I did over the years only to see that it was the only way to truly identify me. When I was lost, as I see it, I was blindly walking into my purpose. I had no clear sense of direction until that moment after graduating from college. I learned that I was not the only one that lived quite some time being conditioned by my environment and never really taking the time to stop, release, and regroup.
Today, I am so thankful for that moment of reflection because it is the same exact moments I curate for my clients on a daily basis. It is my purpose and passion to create a real, authentic, therapeutic atmosphere for my clients to take a look at all of the pieces of the puzzle of their lives to deeply understand who they are.
Has it been a smooth road?
My journey building a business has not been a smooth road. For a very long time, I felt like I was in a battle with my passion, money, and popularity. It was almost as if one had to win and I was not sure which one I was rooting for at times. My passion work was so strongly tied to my business that I would often offer services for free but then would become defeated when I realized my business was not making money. There were other times, where I felt I wasn’t public enough and that someone “more popular” offered better services than me. I realized that the only thing keeping this battle fueled was me! I could not take it anymore so I decided to pray about my direction.
I took a month off from working and put a pause on everything. I was then able to go back to the drawing board and fix the missing loopholes. I created time for passion work and developed a strategy that would bring in more money and would allow me to gain more exposure. Most importantly, I sat down and reflected on ME AGAIN. I was put on this offer as a puzzle that’s different than anyone else in the entire world. I used what made me different to come to an understanding that my passion and vision is unique and that no one can offer my services like I can.
The first year in business taught me that building a business should be about you first. You are essentially birthing a baby that you have to nurture. Once you start worrying about money and popularity, the tender love and care of the vision you birthed will decrease its intensity. Again, I was so thankful for another moment to release and reconnect.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with The Brand Psychologist – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
As “The Brand Psychologist” I utilize both my therapeutic and branding skills to assist my clients with releasing any negative thought patterns in order to create successful brands and businesses. My clients range from start-up entrepreneurs to someone looking to build a personal brand. As a client, you will participate in brand therapy sessions in order for me to not only gain insight into your thoughts and behaviors, but the sessions create a safe and peaceful environment for you to design the life you want to live.
As we all know, life is hard, and certain life circumstances can break our confidence. It is my job to assist you with getting over any fear, doubt, and anxiety and bring you to a new place of peace and power. May seem like a fairytale for some, but no one leaves a session with a dry eye. My clients leave their sessions having released thought patterns they did not even realize existed. I am empowered by seeing my clients bloom. Some are just starting and some have been in business and feel stuck after that 5-year mark, but we work it out.
My mission is to release, reconnect, and reinvent and that is what comes out of each and every session. MY services are set apart because I am not just a business coach. I won’t tell you to do, do, do, without giving you the peace of mind to do it. My background has taught me that if your mind is not together, no fruit will be produced.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love Atlanta, born and raised in Atlanta has taught me many fundamental lessons. My fondest memories are going to Piedmont Park with my family.
Even today, I am amazed at how many attractions we have. It’s like waking up in a new city every day because you never know what will pop up next. I really do not think there is anything I dislike about Atlanta. I haven’t been to a city better!
