Hi Donald, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started this photography business based on being an assistant to another photographer. I was asked so much about how I can take photos for people, and based on the photographer, I was a bit better at responding. When I kept being asked to take photos I said, let me jump out here and see what happens. After I did a couple of shoots and people liked them I said lets keep going.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I would like to say the road has been as smooth as I have made it. I think it has been based on what I have made it to be. My biggest struggle has been to market or promote what I am doing.

My business was set up based on the fact that I like to take candid shots. I liked the effect of how candid shots are done without the direct attention being on the camera. However, I can do headshots, photoshoots for families and individuals, and events. I am most proud of my brand being able to provide outstanding pictures and customer service. Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Since I do not believe in luck, I believe the hard work and drive to become better with each and every shoot is evident. The things I was afraid of doing when I started and the things I can do now are definitely a showing of that hard work.
