Check Out Chef Jamar Griddine’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chef Jamar Griddine.

Chef Jamar , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My name is chef Jamar Griddine, born and raised in Kansas City mo. I got started in the kitchen by helping my mom in the kitchen, she’s the baker in the family. I grew up eating cakes, cookies, pies and more. From there, I went to Culinary arts school, joined different programs to get my name out there and used to work for Chef Gordon Ramsay and Chef T Hell’s Kitchen. Now, I’m a private chef ready to cook for the Queens of America and the world. My stage name is ”The Dancing Chef”. Cooking for me is like a women, you have to find new ways to get to her heart.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it hasn’t been smooth or easy but nothing that you want ever is easy. When I had to learn how to walk again and my twin sister passed away. I had to ask God to help me up and that wasn’t easy. But he did it. He saved me and now I’m walking and able to fully shine and do what God has called me to do. Make people happy, spread joy and make people feel loved through cooking and dancing.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
What I am known for is my grandma’s peach cobbler, bread pudding , soul food, Italian, keto, vegetarian and more. Why eat Good, when you can eat great. What I am most proud of is that God blessed me to break general curses in my family and I plan on passing this down to my kids and Queen one day whoever they are, I will be ready. What set me apart from others is that not only can I cook but I can entertain the guest while cooking. I sing and dance.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
The advice for anyone starting is just go for it. Faith without work is dead. Also do your research on whoever you plan on working for.
