Today we’d like to introduce you to Jamie Lee Meyer.
Hi Jamie Lee, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I have always had a deep desire to help others and do what I could to improve lives. As a little girl and an empath, I could pick up on things that were going on with people even when they seemed “fine.” I would do nice and thoughtful things to comfort them including holding sacred space and providing unconditional love. Of my own volition, I made regular trips across the street from my grandparent’s house to the church to make sack lunches for the unhoused.
My innate drive to help others along with my own life experiences led me down the path to get my Master’s of Education in Professional Counseling. After years of working with clients who had experienced trauma, grief, loss, and abuse, I realized that Professional Counseling was beneficial for processing the mental and emotional aspects of a person, but did not address the spiritual or physical aspects. Recognizing this theme, I was guided to complete multiple certifications in various forms of energetic healing and spiritual counseling. In 2022, I published a chapter in Wealth Codes: Sacred Strategies to Abundance pertaining to differentiating your voice from internalized/critical ones. Vessel of Divine Wellness is a holistic healing practice that focuses on authenticity, life purpose, mental processing, emotional healing, soul retrieval, releasing body memory, and grounding and safety.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
One of the most difficult things that I did along this journey was leave the Professional Counseling field. I thought that it would be my “end,” and it turned out to really be my “means” to an end. Along the way to creating my business, I learned a combination of practical business skills, which could have been seen as a deviation from my path. As a Director of Training, Bar Manager, and Office Manager, I developed skills of organization, program creation and implementation, leadership development, team building, and the ability to create a positive business culture. So it seems that the obstacles were really making me more apt to become a business owner, AND I had made some really amazing connections along the way.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At Vessel of Divine Wellness, we empower individuals to live a purpose-driven authentic life by healing from the past, nurturing natural talent, activating abundance, and embracing radical self-acceptance. We do this through Spiritual Counseling and various forms of energetic healing. Most professionals refer people who have been stuck in their progress or other modalities and forms of therapy/healing have not given the results these individuals are seeking. The major focal points in our sacred space include understanding what is going on with you or your body, releasing trapped emotions from the body that are preventing progress in life or declined health, and retrieving pieces of the soul that have fragmented due to trauma or loss. Our practice works with newborns through wisdom ages as well as animals.
How do you think about luck?
If you pay attention to soul guidance, things that seem like luck actually tend to do with alignment. The more aligned you are with your purpose, the more things are going to work out for the highest and best.
