Blissful Lemonade of Metro Atlanta on Life, Lessons & Legacy

We recently had the chance to connect with Blissful Lemonade and have shared our conversation below.

Good morning Blissful, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
What we’re most proud of building — that nobody sees — is the heart behind Blissful Lemonade. People see the bottles, the smiles, and the flavors, but what they don’t see is the countless late nights, the sacrifices, and the prayers poured into every batch. They don’t see the intention behind choosing healthier blends to support our community’s wellness, or the quiet moments when we reinvest our earnings back into serving others. They don’t see how we teach our kids the value of entrepreneurship while building generational wealth. They don’t see the vision we carry — to use something as simple as lemonade to spark joy, create opportunities, and make a lasting impact in people’s lives. That hidden foundation of love, discipline, and purpose is what makes Blissful Lemonade so much more than a drink.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
We’re Kendell and Kita Myers, the husband-and-wife duo behind Blissful Lemonade. What started as a simple family idea quickly became a mission-driven brand built on love, faith, and community. We’re not just selling lemonade — we’re building a movement.

Every flavor has a purpose: some raise awareness for health issues like diabetes and high blood pressure, while others simply spread joy on a hot summer day. What makes us unique is that Blissful Lemonade isn’t just about refreshment — it’s about impact. We’ve committed to giving back a portion of our proceeds to help those in need, and we’re using something as ordinary as lemonade to create extraordinary change.

We’re also parents of three young boys, so everything we do is rooted in legacy. We want our kids to see firsthand that with faith, hard work, and vision, you can turn even the smallest idea into something that touches lives across a city — and one day, across the world.

Right now, we’re working on expanding into local grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations, corner stores, vending at large community events, and positioning Blissful Lemonade as one of the top lemonade brands in the world. At the end of the day, we’re not just pouring drinks — we’re pouring hope, joy, and a taste of something greater into every bottle. We are the “Lemonade that makes you Smile.”

In our first two months in business, we have sold over 1,000 bottles of Blissful Lemonade with an 100% customer satisfaction five stars rating. Our one year goal is “To go from the House to the Warehouse.” We are known for being the “Willy Wonka Of Lemonade.” Some of our biggest milestones this far are: Promoting Blissful Lemonade on 96.1 the beat Radio Station W/ Ferrari Simmons and BT during “You got me messed up” segment, sold out at Carissa Shields’ Youth Boxing Summer Training Camp also featured champion Brian Norman Jr in College Park, GA and being a part of Goodwill ambassador Dr. Travis Barber from 1MoQuestion Nonprofit Back to school event at Bella Nissan in Union City, GA.

We currently have 8 flavors of Blissful Lemonade: Classic (Original), Joy (Pink Citrus), Ocean (Blue Raspberry), Exotic (Passion Fruit/Strawberry), Starburst (Strawberry), Summer Time (Mango), Georgia Breeze (Pink Citrus/Mango/Strawberry) and Purple Heart (Our Diabetes Awareness Lemonade). We also recently expanded selling Fruit Bowls and Pineapple Upside Down Cake. Follow us & DM us for orders on Instagram/TikTok: @blissfullemonade. We cater Events, Parties & Festivals. Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
What part of us has served its purpose and must now be released is the mindset of survival. For so long, both of us carried the weight of just trying to get by — working hard, hustling, and pushing through without truly allowing ourselves to dream bigger. That season served us because it built resilience, grit, and determination, but it no longer fits where God is taking us.

Now, we’re releasing fear, doubt, and the habit of shrinking ourselves to fit into spaces we’ve outgrown. Instead, we’re stepping fully into a season of abundance, impact, and faith-led boldness. Survival got us here, but vision and purpose are what’s going to take Blissful Lemonade — and our family — to the next level.

What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
The defining wounds of our lives have been the seasons of lack, rejection, and feeling unseen. We both know what it’s like to struggle financially, to carry the pain of broken relationships, and to question our worth when doors seemed closed. Those wounds shaped us, but they didn’t destroy us.

Healing came when we surrendered those hurts to God and chose to turn our pain into Superpower. We began to see that every setback was preparation, every wound carried a lesson, and every scar held a testimony. Instead of letting bitterness define us, we let faith, love, and vision transform us.

Now, through Blissful Lemonade, we take what once wounded us and use it as fuel to pour joy, hope, and healing into others. The same pain that could’ve kept us down is the very foundation of the impact we’re building today.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
A belief we’re committed to, no matter how long it takes, is that our lives and our business must create generational impact. For us, that means building Blissful Lemonade into more than just a brand — but a legacy that teaches our children and our community the power of faith, perseverance, and ownership.

We believe that even the smallest seed, when planted with consistency and love, can grow into something that changes lives. That’s why no matter how long it takes, we’re committed to using our platform to serve people, give back, and show that with God, all things are possible. Whether it’s one bottle at a time or one city at a time, we won’t stop until Blissful Lemonade becomes a household name that stands for joy, hope, happiness and purpose.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
The story we hope people tell about us when we’re gone is that we lived lives of impact, love, and unshakable faith. We want people to say that we didn’t just build a business, we built people — that every bottle of Blissful Lemonade was more than a drink, it was a reminder of joy, hope, and possibility.

We hope our story is told as one of a husband and wife who turned pain into purpose, who raised children to walk boldly in their calling, and who gave generously so others could experience freedom. Above all, we want to be remembered as a couple who loved God, loved people, and left a legacy that will continue to pour long after we’re gone.
