Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with XRO Sizzerr of South side

We recently had the chance to connect with XRO Sizzerr and have shared our conversation below.

Hi XRO , thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
Patience, I tend to not let things get to me especially when certain things don’t deserve my energy. Weather it’s people or situations, I realize I can’t jump the gun to quick because my actions have real consequences.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is XRO Sizzerr and up and coming artist from Marion, Indiana. I think my creativity and versatility makes me unique cause I haven’t found a genre I can’t get comfortable with or an artist I can’t work with. Music was something I always had love for and I used to think I had a great work ethic, but after I received multiple gun shot wounds and later sitting in jail I realized I have to kick it up a notch because I refuse to let my life repeat a cycle I’ve seen other do. I believe I’m meant for greater things so my ambitions got to be greater then everyone else’s

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
My first show after having my first viral song just hearing a crowd full of people knowing my song word for word just felt like I had the world in my hands for that moment. People gave me their attention and felt a connection between me and them while I was on stage

What’s something you changed your mind about after failing hard?
I went from thousands of dollars to 0 dollars and I watched how everyone’s love left I didn’t get many calls of people checking on me, I wasn’t some of my family’s favorite cousin no more, I saw my love was worth what I could provide. So now I don’t have nothing give no one everything I stack is for me weather it’s selfish or not

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Is the public version of you the real you?
No people only see what’s skin deep they see arrests they see tattoos and don’t understand I’m a whole vibe. Everyone thinks imma super tuff crashout when I’m just chill I’ll kick it with anyone genuine. Not everything is negative or only a street mentality

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
My lifestyle and upbringing was purely off circumstance and sacrifice I never did anything I didn’t have to. When people hear certain stories about me and believe they got me figured out it really was a slap in the face
