Hello, my name is Nyajza Jackson, and I am the proud owner of Nailed by Nyajza Studio, located in College Park. By combining art and creativity, I provide exceptional nail enhancements in a safe and relaxing environment. My business, formerly known as Desired Designs by Dasiya, has been rebranded as Nailed by NyAjza. I am originally from a small town in Alabama, where I began doing nails at the age of 5, inspired by my mother, a hairstylist. I remember polishing her clients’ toenails for $5. My sister’s black nail technician in Birmingham, AL, also served as a source of inspiration, as black nail technicians were a unicorn back then.On my 15th birthday, my mother and sister gifted me with a nail training class. After graduating from high school in 2017, I relocated to Atlanta, attended nail school, and obtained my licensure in 2019. I have had the privilege of working with prominent clients, including Netflix, Vh1, and Bravo. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you soon!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Overall, it has been a smooth road for me, and I can say that because I’ve had a wonderful support system. Not once have I ever been discouraged.

Based in Atlanta, I am a nail technician with a specialty in nail enhancement, nail extensions, and nail art. My passion for shaping and nail art is evident in every service I provide. I take pride in being dedicated to a profession that I love, which is a key factor that sets me from others.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Exercising my free will brings me happiness; I’ve created a space and worked hard to achieve that. Providing quality service while doing something I enjoy is also important to me.
