Tay Rose , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My name is Tay Rose Dior — I’m a celebrity stylist, makeup artist, model, and digital entrepreneur. My journey started with a deep love for fashion and beauty from a young age. I was always the one helping friends put their looks together, playing with makeup, and curating outfits that told a story.

Over time, that passion grew into a career. I started working with clients in Atlanta, which led to opportunities to style and collaborate with well-known names in music, reality TV, and the fashion industry. From there, I expanded my brand beyond just styling building a digital presence, modeling, and mentoring others who want to create their own lane in this industry.

What got me here today is a mix of hard work, self-belief, and staying true to my vision. I built everything from the ground up, fully self-funded, and now I’m in a space where I can inspire and empower others to chase their dreams the same way I did with confidence and consistency.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all the road has been anything but smooth, but every challenge shaped me into the woman I am today. When you’re building a brand from the ground up, especially as a self-funded entrepreneur, you deal with everything from financial risks to people doubting your vision.

There were moments where I had to sacrifice, work multiple jobs, and teach myself the business side of the industry because nothing was handed to me. And being a woman in this space, especially around celebrities and high-profile environments, meant I had to constantly prove my value while staying professional and true to myself.

But those struggles taught me resilience. They pushed me to trust my instincts, build my own opportunities, and never settle for less than I deserve. Looking back, those bumps in the road were really stepping stones to the success I have now.

I wear many hats. I’m a celebrity stylist, makeup artist, model, and digital entrepreneur but at the core, my work is about helping people look and feel like the best version of themselves.

I specialize in luxury styling and beauty, curating looks that stand out while still feeling authentic to each client. Over the years, I’ve been blessed to work alongside some of the biggest names in music, reality TV, and entertainment, creating red carpet and editorial-ready looks that turn heads.

What I’m most proud of is that I built this entirely on my own terms. Everything I’ve accomplished has been self-funded and self-driven, which makes every milestone even more meaningful.

What sets me apart is my eye for detail and my ability to balance luxury with individuality. I don’t just follow trends. I create timeless looks that fit the person, not just the moment. My clients know that when they work with me, they’re not just getting a stylist or MUA; they’re getting someone who understands the art of image-building and branding.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I see the fashion, beauty, and digital space becoming even more interconnected and global over the next decade. Social media has already blurred the lines between stylist, influencer, and entrepreneur, and that trend is only going to grow.

We’re moving into a space where personal branding is everything people don’t just want to wear a look, they want to live a lifestyle that tells a story. At the same time, technology like AI, AR fitting rooms, and digital fashion will change how we shop, style, and engage with brands.

For creatives like me, this means endless opportunity. It’s no longer about just being behind the scenes; it’s about building a brand that stands on its own, collaborating with global platforms, and creating spaces where individuality and luxury meet. The ones who adapt, stay authentic, and keep innovating will lead this industry into the next era.
