Today we’d like to introduce you to Mark Pozin.
Hi Mark, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My wife, Alka has been a crystal and rock enthusiast most of her life. She always had a habit of guiding folks to what crystals would benefit them and also just share her crystals with people when she was called to. She started teaching crystals classes, and all her students commented how she had a very special connection to the crystals and that her style of educating them was unique and resonant with/to all of them. She taught them how to connect with the crystals and understand their energy individually. When we started dating, I would pick up the crystals she had placed all over her home and marvel at their beauty. One day she asked me “what do you feel?” as I picked up a magnificently sparkly labradorite pillow. I felt deep resonance and saw in my mind’s eye this vibrant ocean, waves crashing and a sense of something very profound taking place. I relayed this to her and her eyes sparkled and she had the biggest smile on her face. This labrodarite had just connected us in a deep way.
Fast Forward, 2020, I had to make the difficult decision to shut down my brick and mortar health and supplement business. I teased Alka that we should start a business together. She said YES, let’s start a crystal business. I loved the idea, these beautiful gifts from the earth resonated with me. We spoke to a few of her students and they all supported the idea, knowing that the crystals that Alka would select would be different and more special than what is available on the market at the time. One of her friends suggested how she had such an amazing knack for matching people with the Right crystal at the Right time and that is where The Crystal Matchmakers was born.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Starting off the business was smooth and always felt like we were doing the right thing, to share our crystal stories with everyone and to match everyone with their rightful Crystal companions. Along the way, we have learnt a lot about the Crystal purchasing process as well as the process of running an online digital business.
We continue to face challenges on this road. Weather is changes to algorithms on Etsy that constantly has us on our toes to ensure our listings are relevant for buyers, to trying to market information and our crystals on Instagram. We do frequently face social media fatigue and face challenges with new and innovative ideas to create posts as there are more and more online crystal businesses on social media who have live sales, story sales and information on crystals. We continue to try to press on despite it being a rather challenging year, and hope to end the year in a good way.

We take a lot of time and effort to source unique crystals from all over the world.

We also specialize in single source crystals and minerals, for example we acquired a Villuamite Sphere specimen from Russia, that is carved by hand using Vodka as water is too coarse for the carving process and the crystal will disintegrate in water.

How to use Harmonizers
Application Guidelines:
Holding the Harmonizers in both hands, get into a comfortable sitting position with legs uncrossed. Sit with your hands on your knee with palm up and holding your Harmonizers parallel to each other. Close your eyes and relax allowing yourself to go into a meditative state concentrate on your breathing and energizing your body.
Do this for 3-5 minutes every day twice a day gradually increasing the time to a comfortable 15 minutes for 2 weeks. Take a two-week break and repeat it.
