Today we’d like to introduce you to Jaay Darnell.
Hi Jaay, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started YouTube back in 2012. I was 12 years old and knew I wanted to be a content creator. Shortly after I hopped on vine and started to post on there a lot. Vine taught me how to be creative because you only had 6 seconds to create something worth watching. Just as I started to do numbers on Vine, it shut down then I found my way back to instagram. I started posting dancing videos on there and YouTube for the next couple of years, and was heavily deep inside the dance community. I broke my knee in 2023 and after that I switch strictly back to making skits and making Vlogs on YouTube. I guess it was a sign because shortly after I was getting millions of views and getting invited to YouTube Creator events. Now here it is 2025 and along with all that, I’m also streaming on Twitch. I guess we’ll see where I go from here.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This road has not been smooth at all. I thought about quitting so many times, especially when I was doing 2 different types of content. It’s hard trying to do 2 different niches. I couldn’t decide which one I wanted to do and felt like I was getting nowhere. Sometimes life would hit hard and slow you down but as long as you get up and keep going you gone be straight. The road still gone be there.

Im a content creator (YouTuber/Streamer) and I specialize in making content that either makes people laugh or live vicariously through. I’m known for dancing and making funny skits. Currently I’m most proud of being invited to YouTube Creator Events. I feel like what sets me apart from others is my love for the game and my creativity. Been creating content for over 13 years and have been consistent with it and while also making something worth watching. Plus all my content is original.
What are your plans for the future?
My plans for the future is to be a big YouTuber and a big Streamer. My goal is to receive plaques from both platforms and make more than enough money to buy my parents a house and also be able to make their dreams come true along with mine.
