Today we’d like to introduce you to Michael Cummings.
Hi Michael, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have been in the music business for 40 years. I was the guitarist and co writer in the band McQueen Street in the 90s.
We were signed to SBK records and had songs that charted top 40 at rock radio. And several videos on MTV. I have been in the Atlanta area developing talent since 98, running several recording studios and producing lots of Atlanta based bands, singers, and musicians.
I currently run MusicMaker Productions where I continue to help talented people take their music to the next level.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Along the way music and making great music has always been my main objective. Life is always full of obstacles but I dwell in the realm of possibility so , as a producer and musical motivator, A positive attitude and belief in the unseen is crucial for success!

What does success mean to you?
I like to think of success as a ladder.
It really is a step by step process that slow and steady, one step at a time will get you to your goals. Ultimate success depends on the goals set but, their are many steps of success in the music business, from being able to play an instrumental, write a song on that instrument, , or make a great recording of that song. So, step by step consistency from day to day , one step at a time, moving closer to your goal will get you up the ladder of success!
