Hi Stephanie , thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started my corporate career in Atlanta, GA back in 2016. I’ve worked in professional services for 10 years servicing Fortune 500 companies to transform their Human Resource platforms. I’ve worked for PwC and currently employed at Deloitte. Throughout my time of working in corporate I always knew I wanted to provide some type of service to my community. It wasn’t until my family expanded and we welcomed our beautiful daughter Olivia that I figured out what I would be best at. I was blessed to see the vision of Luminous Lux Events. My business allows me to express my creative outlet by hosting events and providing ballon services. I’ve always had interest in hosting and would decorate for me and my friend’s personal events. I knew this would be the perfect avenue for me to continue working in corporate while running a business. It also allows me to work along side my finance who is offering the catering options and incorporate my child when she gets older. The goal is to build generational wealth by involving my family and saving for our future.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The journey to starting a business is never simple. Once you have the idea there is so much more that follows. The struggles I have faced are building my clientele, balancing it all as a first time mom, and ensuring I can perfectly bring my clients visions to life.

Luminous Lux Events is an event business that offers a variety of services for room decorations, picnics, catering, and ballon services. We ensure our clients special events are luxurious and provide a professional services. I am most proud of taking the steps to network and build my following. I’ve worked in professional services for ten years serving my clients. I’ve learned a thing or two about building rapport and creating successful outcomes.
Any big plans?
