We recently had the chance to connect with Corina Bryant and have shared our conversation below.
Good morning Corina , we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What do you think others are secretly struggling with—but never say?
I think a lot of people secretly struggle with prioritizing themselves. We’re so busy taking care of others, family, work, responsibilities, etc, that self-care feels selfish. But in reality, it’s essential. People rarely admit how much they long for that time to feel good about themselves.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Corina Bryant, and I’m the proud owner of Brio Med Spa. I’m a proud Mexican woman, a single mother, and an entrepreneur who built this business from the ground up. My journey hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been fueled by resilience, passion, and a desire to create something that empowers others.
At Brio, we specialize in treatments like laser hair removal, facials, weight loss programs, teeth whitening, and more, but what truly makes us unique is the heart behind what we do. I know firsthand what it feels like to want to look and feel your best, yet put yourself last because life gets busy. That’s why I created a space where self-care isn’t a luxury, it’s a priority.
What excites me most is seeing the confidence in our clients when they leave, whether it’s from clearer skin, progress on their health goals, or simply taking time for themselves. My mission is to help people feel radiant inside and out, and to show that with dedication and a little support, transformation is always possible.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who taught you the most about work?
The person who taught me the most about work is my mother, and really, my entire family. Coming from Mexico, life was not easy. We all woke up before dawn, sometimes around 4 a.m., to head straight to the fields and pick fruit. That experience taught me discipline, resilience, and the value of every dollar earned.
My mother, especially, shaped who I am. She was very serious and strict about being hardworking, and she instilled in me the mindset that nothing in life is handed to you, you earn it through effort, persistence, and sacrifice. That foundation is what gave me the courage to build my business from the ground up and continue pushing forward, even when things get hard.
When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
I stopped hiding my pain and started using it as power in 2018, when I decided to start my business. At the time, I was going through a divorce that completely changed my life, it was one of the darkest periods I’ve ever faced. But instead of letting that pain break me, I turned it into fuel.
I had a dream and a vision: to rebuild myself, to feel good in my own skin again, and to create a space where others could experience that same empowerment. That’s how Brio Med Spa was created. My struggles gave me strength, and my pain became the very thing that pushed me to grow, to heal, and to inspire others to do the same.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
One of the biggest lies in the beauty and wellness industry is that results happen overnight. The truth is, real transformation takes time, consistency, and care. I never want my clients to feel pressured into believing in quick fixes or unrealistic promises.
Another lie is that self-care is ‘vain’ or ‘superficial.’ In reality, taking care of yourself, whether it’s your skin, your health, or your confidence, is deeply connected to how you show up in life. At Brio Med Spa, I focus on being honest with my clients, guiding them through realistic, sustainable treatments that help them feel empowered in the long run.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. Are you tap dancing to work? Have you been that level of excited at any point in your career? If so, please tell us about those days.
Yes, absolutely, I love what I do, and there are definitely days when I feel that level of excitement. Of course, nothing makes me happier than seeing a client walk out the door with more confidence than they walked in with. But what really makes me ‘tap dance to work’ is the constant evolution of this industry.
I get so energized trying out new machines, techniques, and technologies. A big part of what makes aesthetics exciting is that it never stays the same, there’s always something innovative and cutting-edge to learn and bring to my clients. Being able to offer the newest, trendiest treatments while knowing they’re safe and effective keeps me passionate and makes every day feel fresh and inspiring.
