Good morning William, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What is a normal day like for you right now?
Now that I am retired I get up at 5am run 2 miles then relax enjoying all the wonder creatures that visit my yard , deer, rabbits even an owl. Then it’s off to the workshop for a day of creating unique handcrafted furniture.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi I’m Bill from Happykidztoyboxes I create unique handcrafted toyboxes and chairs. I am currently working on a series of Butterfly Chairs.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I was just a kid who liked to build mock ups of furniture and draw furniture designs I was told ofter by my school art teacher and my drafting teacher that I had no talent boy were they wrong. I often get asked where I get my inspiration to create I feel like my ancestors guide me in everything that I do.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
I am too stubborn I never give up
