We recently had the chance to connect with Tori McGee Holistic Realtor and have shared our conversation below.
Tori, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
My First 90 Minutes: A Grounded Start to the Day
I start my mornings with something simple and nourishing — a warm cup of lemon water or herbal tea to gently wake up my system. It’s a quiet ritual that sets a calm tone before the rhythm of the day begins.
Next, I shift into preparing a school lunch for my high schooler. We keep it fresh and whole — the morning might begin with a bowl of vibrant fruit or, on some days, sourdough avocado toast. It’s important to me that the food we start our day with feels clean, energizing, and thoughtful.
Once he’s out the door, I head to the gym for a focused 45-minute workout. I make sure I’m there before 9 AM on weekdays — it’s non-negotiable. Moving my body early not only keeps me physically strong but also helps keep my energy steady and mind clear for the rest of the day.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Tori McGee, a Holistic Realtor based in Metro Atlanta Areas of Georgia. I help individuals and families find homes that not only suit their lifestyle, but also support their health and well-being. As a Certified Building Biology Advocate & BBNC, I take a wellness-forward approach to real estate — from assessing indoor air quality and environmental toxins, to considering EMF exposure, mold risks, Enviromental concerns and the overall energetic feel of a space.
My brand, The Holistic Home Expert®, was born from a belief that where we live deeply affects how we live. I combine traditional real estate expertise with a holistic lens to help clients make empowered, informed decisions about the spaces they call home.
Whether you’re buying, selling, or simply rethinking your environment, I’m here to guide you through it with care, clarity, and WELLNESS.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who taught you the most about work?
Self-Taught in Hard Work and Serving Others
I wasn’t handed a roadmap — I learned by doing. My understanding of hard work didn’t come from textbooks or training programs; it came from real-life experiences, long days, early mornings, and a deep commitment to showing up fully — even when no one was watching.
Over time, I taught myself how to stay disciplined, keep promises to myself, and pour excellence into everything I do. I learned that hard work isn’t just about pushing through — it’s about consistency, heart, and doing things with purpose.
Equally important is the value of service. I believe in leading with empathy, listening closely, and doing the right thing even when it’s not the easiest thing. Serving others means seeing beyond the transaction — it’s about care, trust, and impact.
These principles shape everything I do, both personally and professionally. I’m proud to say I built my business — and my life — on these values.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could say one kind thing to my younger self, it would be this:
You’re doing better than you think.
You don’t have to have it all figured out right now. The path you’re walking — even when it feels uncertain — is shaping you in ways you can’t yet see. Trust your instincts, keep your heart open, and know that every challenge is preparing you for something greater.
Be gentle with yourself. You are enough!
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
The Public Version of Me Is Real
The version of me you see — the one who speaks about wellness, healthy homes, and intentional living — is not a brand I created. It’s who I’ve been for over 23 years.
I’ve lived a healthy, non-toxic lifestyle long before it was a trend. From the way I eat and move, to the products I bring into my home and the energy I allow around me, every choice I make is rooted in a deep commitment to well-being — for myself, my family, and those I serve.
This isn’t just what I do. It’s how I live. The public version of me is the real me — shaped by experience, grounded in truth, and driven by a mission to help others live more consciously, too.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: When do you feel most at peace?
When I Feel Most at Peace
I feel most at peace when I can set aside uninterrupted time with my family. In those moments — away from the noise, the schedule, the to-do lists — I’m reminded of what truly matters.
Sharing a meal, laughing over something small, or just being in the same space without distractions brings a sense of grounding that nothing else can. It’s in that quiet togetherness that I recharge, refocus, and feel most like myself.
