Hi Alli, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
In 2018, I transformed my passion for crafting incredible travel itineraries into becoming a luxury travel advisor. It was one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself, as I now have the privilege of helping my clients experience the transformative power of travel. In crafting private tailor-made itineraries based on my clients’ specific travel preferences, I ensure their experiences seeing the world are exactly the way they wish. I plan travel all over the world and harness my incredible industry relationships to elevate clients’ travel experiences whenever and wherever they venture.
After COVID, it is clear that people value time spent with family and friends and now place greater value on the benefits of travel. Travel trends demonstrate this, as multi-generation trips are hugely popular, along with traveling to bucket-list destinations. Couples are going all out for their honeymoons, and cruising is bigger than ever. Whichever way someone wants to travel, I feel privileged to be a part of their journey!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I’m very fortunate that the road has been smooth thus far. Thanks to personal references and word of mouth recommendations, my travel business continues to grow!
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I love venturing far and wide to see the world, and Africa is my personal favorite destination. I have been there 8 times, and in addition to going on multiple fantastic safaris, I have gone gorilla trekking in Rwanda, experienced the Great Migration, climbed the tallest sand dune in Namibia, met with Maasai tribesmen in their mud huts in Kenya, gone hot air ballooning in the Serengeti, and am planning to visit Uganda next year. I have been to 6 of the 7 continents, and always love having an upcoming trip to look forward to.
I have been selected as a Conde’ Nast Travel Specialist in 2025, 2024, and 2023, and have contributed to travel articles in several national newspapers and magazines. I pride myself on having close relationships with my clients, doing my absolute best to ensure each trip I plan is incredibly interesting and memorable, overseeing the trips I plan from start to finish, and advocating for my clients whenever the need arises. This is a most rewarding career, and I am very grateful to my clients for allowing me to play such an important role in their lives.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I have perfect pitch, play piano by ear, and can effortlessly play any song I hear. I am very grateful to have this talent and have my parents and grandparents to thank for it!
