Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My first career was in advertising. I loved it but it left me feeling like I needed to do more. I guess to help people. I have always loved and admired the elderly. They are the backbone of this country and who we are. So in 2008 I lost my job due to the economy crash and it was time for me to follow my passion. So…. I started a home care agency.
Working with families over the years and hearing their challenges, brought me to the conclusion that the world needed The Blue Hug.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The greatest obstacle is getting the word out that The Blue Hug even exist. I know so many people in the elderly services business and many of those people promote this garment for me. It’s just a matter of believing in something so outside of the box.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Having a home care agency is more than just placing caregivers in the home, it is becoming a resource for the families we service. If your not in the business of caring for people, you have no Idea which way to turn when your parent or loved one is in need. I am an advocate for education and resources in this industry. My colleagues know they can call me and I will lead them in the right direction. This is how The Blue Hug was born. Showering someone that is sick, has dementia or is just cold and uncomfortable is a challenge. This shower garment alleviates these issues and gives the wearer and sense of comfort.

To share the Blue Hug with the world. To help me spread the word that this garment is available and necessary to give our elderly population their dignity back. I would like to be in a magazine article or on a tv spot. I am willing to do whatever to get this information in front of the folks who need it.
