Today we’d like to introduce you to Shené Redden.
Shené, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
The Cannabis Queen: Cultivator, Educator, Coach, and Sex Therapist Redefining Healing Through Pleasure and Plant Medicine
When people ask me how I got here, I always start with this: my journey began with pain. I know what it feels like to carry shame and trauma around sex and intimacy, and I also know how heavy that can be. For many of us, those wounds run so deep that traditional talk therapy alone doesn’t reach the places where the body is still holding on. That realization is what led me to become a sex therapist. I wanted to create a safe, compassionate space where people could release past hurts and reconnect with themselves.
Along the way, I discovered the incredible power of cannabis and CBD. What started as curiosity became a calling. I saw how plant medicine could soften the body, calm the mind, and create a bridge for deeper healing. That’s when I fully stepped into my role as the Cannabis Queen — a cultivator, educator, and coach. I began curating elite products and guiding people on how to use them intentionally as part of their healing journeys, whether they were working through trauma, seeking intimacy, or learning how to trust their bodies again.
My work is not just about therapy, cannabis, or education. It’s about bringing them together. I incorporate mind, body, and spirit through my work as a shamanic healer, blending ritual, plant medicine, and therapeutic tools into a holistic approach. I want my clients to know that healing can be powerful, sexy, and sacred all at the same time.
For me, this is more than a profession. It’s my purpose. My passion is helping people reclaim pleasure, safety, and wholeness, and showing them that they don’t have to carry the past forever. Healing is possible, and it can feel liberating, embodied, and deeply empowering.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. The cannabis industry is still very male-dominated, and it’s often controlled by large white-owned powerhouses that aren’t always willing to pay it forward or support small businesses like mine. I’ve had to fight for my place at the table, sometimes creating my own table when doors were closed to me. There were moments when access, funding, and opportunities felt limited, but those challenges pushed me to lean into my creativity, resilience, and passion. They’ve also made me even more committed to educating others and building a community where healing, equity, and empowerment are possible.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Write to Heel CannaBiz?
My business is all about blending education, cannabis coaching, and sexual healing into a holistic approach that supports mind, body, and spirit. I specialize in helping people release trauma, reconnect with their bodies, and reclaim pleasure using evidence-informed tools, elite cannabis products, and intentional practices.
What sets me apart is that I don’t just teach or coach from a theoretical standpoint. I bring my experience as a sex therapist, shamanic healer, and cannabis educator together, guiding clients through both the emotional and physical aspects of healing. I help them navigate plant medicine safely and intentionally while also offering therapy and somatic practices to support deep, lasting transformation.
I’m most proud of creating a brand that is unapologetically bold, healing-focused, and educational. My clients know they are stepping into a space that honors their journey, their desires, and their growth. My goal is for readers to understand that my brand isn’t just about products or therapy—it’s about empowerment, self-love, and creating real change in their lives. Whether it’s through cannabis coaching, sexual healing, or educational offerings, my mission is to help people feel safe, confident, and fully alive in their bodies.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most to me is helping people reclaim their power, pleasure, and sense of self. I’ve seen firsthand how trauma, shame, and societal pressures can disconnect people from their bodies and their joy.
