Check Out Jadeee’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jadeee.

Hi Jadeee, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My name is Jadeee and I am R&B artist who moved from Toronto to turn my story into sound. Music has always been my outlet, a way to transform real-life experiences into something soulful and relatable. Where I am today reflects my personal growth and a deep love for creating art that speaks to people’s emotions. My journey is still unfolding, but right now, I’m standing in my truth and enjoying my journey in sharing my voice.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Moving from Toronto and starting fresh in a new place meant leaving behind comfort and support systems. I had to rebuild from the ground up and learn how to navigate the industry on my own. There were moments of doubt, times I questioned if I was doing the right thing, and financial and emotional struggles that came with pursuing music full-time. But every challenge pushed me to grow, and I’ve learned to channel those struggles into my music. They’re part of what gives my sound its rawness and honesty.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
As a recording artist, I create R&B music rooted in authenticity. I blend melodies with raw storytelling, pulling from real experiences to make music people can feel on a deeper level. What I’m most proud of is staying true to myself. Every song reflects my journey, my growth, and the lessons I’ve lived through life. What sets me apart is the honesty in my voice; I don’t just make songs to sound good, I make them to connect. My goal is always to give listeners something real, something they can see themselves in.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I didn’t realize that most people actually do not engineer themselves. I actually taught myself how to engineer and the bascis of mixing by messing with free software on my school laptop.
