Today we’d like to introduce you to Sintia Matos.
Hi Sintia, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I formed my business in 2019 and started to operate in 2020 right when the pandemic quicked in, I had to learn to operate my business mostly online, I started as a multi service agency offering taxes, insurance, money tranfer , translations and much more, eventually my business has switched to only insurance 80% and taxes 20% , as our insurance book of business is growing it demands more time and dedication to maintain.
It has been a hard journey due that when I started all the carriers where closing appointments and I was having a baby but with time I have learn to manage between been a mother of two (5-7) and managing the business and employees (before I was only doing sells but management is a whole different experience a hard one 🤣).
We put a lot of effort in what we are building , me and my team; we try our best to handle every detail from the first moment we get in touch with the client until the end of the sale and account maintenance.
Our operations has expanded to 44 states at the time , and we will be opening more products soon available to our clients.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been easy.
One of my biggest struggles has been managing the employees and delegate.
– I always worked alone; I never had to handle employees and I didn’t know how to assign the tasks they needed to get done or training them so they can do it all by themselves , at the biggin I always wanted to be on top of everything and wanted employees to multitask (I hate multitask now, I prefer an employee to do 1-2 things and do it 100% right , than getting overwhelmed).
– Delegating : I still struggle with that, but slowly it has gotten better .

We offer insurance services and tax preparation , or insurance offering is covering 44 states at the moment.

What does success mean to you?
Success is different for everyone, for me is stability, having order , sleep well and been debt free.
Been able to pick up my kids at school and knowing that im giving the best that I can each day.
That’s success for me, money will follow if you do everything right or the best that you can.
