An Inspired Chat with Candice Daily of Atlanta

We recently had the chance to connect with Candice Daily and have shared our conversation below.

Candice , so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Spending more time with my family has been bringing me a lot of joy lately. Whether it’s cooking together or just laughing about little things, it’s been grounding.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?

“Hello, my name is Candice Daily. I work in healthcare, where I am dedicated to advancing patient care, compliance, and meaningful outcomes. In addition to my professional role, I am building Compassion & Dignity Home Care, a brand created to provide quality, respectful, and compassionate support for individuals and families in need of care. What makes my journey unique is how I combine my clinical background with my passion for serving the community — always with a focus on compassion, dignity, and detail. Currently, I am continuing my growth in healthcare administration and medical coding while developing my home care brand to make a positive impact.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
I once believed I had to be perfect to help others. Now I see that showing up, listening, and learning are what truly help patients.

When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
stopped hiding my pain the day I decided my experience could make care better for someone else. After losing people close to me and seeing gaps in how patients are treated, I started sharing honestly instead of shrinking away. That honesty pushed me to study harder, speak up for patients, and build Compassion & Dignity Home Care so other families get respectful, compassionate support. My pain became a source of purpose — it taught me resilience and gave my work deeper meaning.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends to me would say my family matters the most to me. cousins are really my siblings so we are cousin/siblings.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
They’d miss my calm, dependable voice who shows up with compassion, gets things done, and makes theirs voices heard.
