Today we’d like to introduce you to Carson Regan.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey into healthcare started unexpectedly early, as a teenager navigating the joys and challenges of young motherhood. Born in Georgia and raised mostly in Birmingham, Alabama, I became a mom at 17, welcoming my first child with excitement and the reality of growing up quickly. At 18, my second child arrived three months prematurely in an emergency c-section that shook our world. Watching my tiny baby fight in the Neonatal ICU, supported by compassionate nurses who became our lifeline, sparked a deep calling in me. My third baby, was a succesful unmedicated VBAC with a certified nurse midwife. My prenatal and birth experience with that pregnancy was life changing. I knew right then I would become a certified nurse midwife. My fourth birth was also an unmedicated VBAC while I was working as a labor and delivery nurse. After four very different pregnancy and birth journeys, I knew I wanted to be the one providing that care, guiding families through vulnerable moments. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs and forward-thinkers, I was used to turning challenges into purpose, and these experiences set my path.
After high school, I pursued nursing, earning my undergraduate degree from Columbus State University in Georgia. By 1999, I was a Registered Nurse, drawn to Labor & Delivery, where I cared for thousands of families during childbirth, the same setting that had saved my own child. I later transitioned to the Neonatal ICU, working with premature and critically ill infants, which sharpened my skills as a charge nurse, CPR instructor, and nurse educator. The birth of my third child, guided by a Certified Nurse Midwife, showed me the power of holistic, woman-centered care. That inspired me to earn my degree from the Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing in 2010, becoming a CNM. I joined a large OB/GYN practice, balancing a thriving career with raising five children alongside my supportive husband.
About six years ago, the limitations of traditional medicine, like rushed appointments and long wait times, began to frustrate me as both a provider and a busy mom. Women I served echoed the same desire for more accessible, personalized care. Inspired by my experiences and entrepreneurial spirit, I envisioned a concierge model that brings OB/GYN services directly to women’s homes or offices. After years of planning and determination, I launched 2me Healthcare in North Atlanta, starting with OB2me for prenatal care and expanding into gynecology and med spa services like MySpa2me. Today, as Owner and CEO, I’m empowering women with convenient, compassionate care that honors their unique stories. It’s been a challenging but deeply fulfilling journey, and I’m grateful for every step that brought me here.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Professionally, the path from Registered Nurse to Certified Nurse Midwife and eventually to entrepreneur was filled with obstacles. After years in Labor & Delivery and the Neonatal ICU, I became a CNM in 2010, but working in traditional OB/GYN settings revealed systemic flaws—rushed appointments, long wait times, and limited patient connection.
Launching OB2me in 2019, especially during the lockdown, was a bold leap. The pandemic heightened the need for safe, accessible prenatal care, but building a concierge model from the ground up meant overcoming logistical hurdles, like ensuring safe home visits, and convincing women to trust a new approach in a time of uncertainty. As a mother of five, balancing the demands of starting a business while raising a family was relentless. Financial risks, skepticism from the medical community, and the challenge of scaling a practice while maintaining personalized care tested my resilience. Yet, those struggles drove me to innovate, lean on my team, and stay committed to empowering women with compassionate, in-home care during a critical time. Each obstacle reinforced my mission to transform women’s healthcare, making the journey, though tough, incredibly worthwhile.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up in Birmingham, Alabama, I was a curious, determined, and empathetic kid with a knack for problem-solving, shaped by my entrepreneurial family. I loved science and helping others, often playing “nurse” to my siblings or organizing neighborhood activities. Becoming a mom at 17 brought out my resilience and deepened my passion for caring for people, setting the stage for my career in healthcare. Despite challenges, I was always driven to turn obstacles into opportunities, with a heart for connection and a mind for innovation.
