Lisa, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Our journey started with a love for two things: family and experiences. As a family, we’ve always enjoyed taking photos and drinking boba tea wherever our travels took us, across the U.S. and even abroad. That passion for exploring flavors and sieze captivating memories sparked the idea to create Dat Tranquilitea Spot and DAT Snapped Spot.
DAT TRANQUILITEA SPOT is a mobile boba tea business that serves refreshing, beautifully handcrafted Willy Wonka worthy beverages across Georgia.
Wanting to create a brand, we looked into expansion.
Our love for capturing memories was initially expressed through photography with our photography business Focused on You Photos by Tee. Later transitioning to DAT Snapped Spot. DAT Snapped Spot is an enclosed mobile photo booth that pairs perfectly with any event.
And hence you have Boba and Booths.
Our Name Origin
“DAT” is more than just a catchy phrase it represents the initials of very important people, who inspire and support everything I do.
Realizing people don’t just want a drink or a picture they want a moment. Combining both businesses to create DAT Spot allowed us to facilitate spaces where joy, connection, and creativity come together.
Today, whether it’s serving vegan friendly fruit flavored teas or helping to capture beautiful moments, our goal is simple , to spread happiness, one sip and one snap at a time.
DAT Spot is one stop enjoyment shop to SIP, SMILE, SNAP for any occasion.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
For DAT Tranquilitea Spot it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of our biggest challenges is educating people aboout vibtanrwhat makes our TranquiliTEA different. Many awesome tea companies exist. Because of that, some customers are unsure what taste to expect and hesitant to try. They aren’t aware that other tea entities are not like us. Our specialty crafted beverages are though organic brewed green tea are described as delicious, vibrant , fun, and playful with a tantalizing flavorful taste similar to a Starburst or Jolly Rancher . Topped with sweet treats like donuts, sprinkles and more.
Every time someone takes that first sip, realizes the difference, and lights up, it reminds us why we started and why we continue.
With DAT Snapped Spot, the challenge has been exposure. Our enclosed mobile photo booth is not your standard photobooth setup. It’s designed to be an interactive, boutique-style experience that transforms events in ways traditional booths can not. While that uniqueness makes us stand out, it’s been harder to secure business from people who are only familiar with the traditional photo booth style.
Despite barriers in obtaining opportunities to demonstrate how memorable and customizable our booth is , every time we see guests laughing, posing, and walking away with lasting memories, it proves the value of staying true to our vision.

At the heart of everything I do is the desire to create joy and connection. I took some things I love photography and boba tea and combined them into experiences that people of all ages, ethnicities, and preferences can enjoy.
Through Dat Tranquilitea Spot, I specialize in notary colorful bold burst of sweet and savory tea. Topped with cotton candy, and other sweet treats.
At DAT Snapped Spot, I host an interactive, one-of-a-kind themed experience that turns every event into something unforgettable.
What makes my work unique is how these operations connect bring unity, and have the ability to entertain everyone from children to seniors, from corporate events attendees to intimate family gatherings.
Having the privilege to collaborate with my nonprofit, Prioritizing and Supporting Students (PASS) has been rewarding. PASS focuses on youth mental health, self-love, and self-care. Collaboration with these three entities streamline positive influence through unparalleled experiences and interactions.
What sets me apart is that DAT SPOT isn’t just about products or services it’s about generating enhanced experiences.
I don’t just sell tea, I construct a TEA-RRIFIC adventure in your mouth.
I don’t just offer photos, I help freeze moments in time in an intriguing individualized way.
Bringing these passions together allows me to spread joy to everyone in a multitude of ways, and that’s what I’m most proud of.
