Hey! My name is Andjoua. Pronounced (On-Ja-Wa). One of my greatest achievements has been stepping out on faith and starting this business! I’ve always had a passion for decorating, an eye for beauty, and a heart committed to providing excellent service.
For over eight years, I’ve worked in the mental health field, walking alongside people in some of their most intimate and challenging moments. I was trusted with their secrets, struggles, and victories, and it has brought me deep joy to be a light in the dark and a source of support for the people I’ve served. While meaningful, that work has also been emotionally heavy, and I longed for a creative outlet that brought peace and balance into my life.
That’s where balloon artistry came in. Balloon décor became my sanctuary, a way to express myself, pour out my passion, and spread joy instantly. There’s nothing like seeing the smiles and excitement when a room is transformed with beautiful, one of a kind designs. From birthdays and graduations to weddings, corporate events, holidays, and grand openings & much more. I love creating unforgettable moments that combine fun, elegance, and lasting memories.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road to success has definitely not been smooth. There have been many obstacles I’ve had to overcome, including people close to me speaking negatively about what I know God will make happen for me. Some have called it a “cute little side project” or doubted that people would actually pay for “just some balloons.”
While those words were hard to hear, they pushed me to become my biggest cheerleader and to believe in myself even when no one else did. I know for a fact that it’s not just balloons, it’s artistry, precision, and vision. It’s creating experiences that transform spaces and leave lasting memories. I’ve learned how important it is not to let small-minded people project their limitations onto your dreams. And, in the words of the great prophet 50 Cent, “And if they hate, then let them hate… and watch me blow these balloons up!” or however that song goes lol.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
My work involves using high quality balloons to create custom designs tailored to any event. I can bring any theme or color palette to life. There’s truly no limit to my imagination! I specialize in organic balloon designs, which are arrangements that flow naturally and combine various shapes and sizes for a dynamic, elegant look.
I also design stunning balloon backdrops that serve as show stopping focal points for events. These installations create an immersive experience for guests and provide memorable photo opportunities that elevate any celebration.
Finally, my balloon sculptures hold a special place in my heart. There’s just something so fun about creating 4-5 ft sculptures of familiar items! When people see them, I want them to recognize the item first, and then admire the balloons themselves. Each sculpture is a playful, creative centerpiece that leaves a lasting impression.
What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is my work. As a recovering perfectionist, I rarely attach my name to anything I’m not proud of, which is why I’m committed to excellence, from the very first interaction with my clients, through the final moments of their event. I believe that anything worth doing is worth doing right, and I pour my heart into every detail to ensure that each celebration is as beautiful and memorable as possible.
