Today we’d like to introduce you to Sabrenn Francis.
Hi Sabrenn, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey really comes down to resilience, faith, and a passion for helping people succeed. I was raised around hard-working entrepreneurs my grandfather, a Haitian immigrant, built his own business from the ground up in Miami. His example taught me early on that true success is about more than money, it is about discipline, integrity, and lifting up others.
I started my career in accounting and payroll, working in collegiate, corporate and nonprofit settings. Along the way, I kept investing in my education and earned multiple degrees and certifications, because I have always believed knowledge is the foundation for growth. Over time, I realized I didn’t just want to sit behind the numbers I wanted to help people understand their businesses, make better decisions, and create lasting stability.
This is what led me to launch Francis Business Consulting. What began with me helping a few small business owners has grown into a firm that now supports entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and municipalities with everything from financial management and payroll to compliance and strategic planning. I also serve as CFO for Greater Wealth Works, a nonprofit incubator, and I teach as an adjunct professor at Kennesaw State University. Additionally, through our non-profit Future Leaders Empowered Inc we help mentor entrepreneurs aboard trough workshops and technology. These roles give me the opportunity to mentor, educate, and build systems that create real impact.
The road has not always been easy there were seasons where I had to start over or face obstacles I did not see coming. But those moments shaped me. They gave me perspective, strengthened my faith, and reminded me why I do this work. Today, I see myself not just as a consultant, but as a bridge connecting people to knowledge, resources, and opportunities so they can grow with confidence.
Growth and impact are our focus. For Francis Business Consulting, that means continuing to expand our services to reach more entrepreneurs and municipalities across Georgia and beyond. We’re also exploring more partnerships and technology solutions that make financial management easier and more efficient for small businesses. We are passionate about developing leaders. Through our nonprofit, Future Leaders Empowered Inc, we want to mentor and equip the next generation with the tools they need to thrive in business and life. Whether it’s through workshops, scholarships, or partnerships, our goal is to keep building bridges that help others reach their potential.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
One of the biggest challenges I faced was learning to build a business while still wearing all the other hats provider, husband, father, and community leader. Early on, I struggled with balance. I was saying yes to every opportunity, working long hours, and trying to grow without a clear structure. It led to burnout more than once.
What helped me overcome that was creating systems for my business and for my life. I became intentional about how I scheduled my time, which clients I took on, and how I prioritized self-care. I also learned the value of building a team and delegating so I could focus on the areas where I add the most value.
Those lessons have shaped how I now advise my clients. I remind them that business growth is not just about revenue it’s about building sustainable processes and taking care of yourself along the way.

Francis Business Consulting is a firm dedicated to helping entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and municipalities gain clarity and confidence in their finances. We specialize in bookkeeping, payroll, accounting, and business consulting but what really sets us apart is our strategic approach. We do not just crunch numbers; we create tailored solutions that help clients grow and sustain their businesses.
We are known for helping organizations build from the ground up launching over 50 businesses, guiding nonprofits through compliance and grant management, and supporting municipalities with internal controls and payroll. Most recently we gained our reach internationally in Tanzania Africa. We support businesses and entrepreneurs through technology efforts there as well. What makes us different is that we meet clients where they are and provide practical, customized strategies instead of one-size-fits-all answers.
What I am most proud of is that our brand stands on excellence and integrity. When you work with us, you are not just getting an accountant you are gaining a partner committed to your growth, stability, and legacy.
Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
I do not believe luck alone shapes success. In business and in life, I have had what some might call “bad luck” setbacks, challenges, and unexpected turns. But I view those moments as lessons that forced me to improve, adapt, and strengthen the way I operate.
I have also experienced what others might call “good luck,” like meeting the right people at the right time or being offered opportunities that accelerated growth. Still, I have learned that it’s preparation, persistence, and professionalism that turn those moments into real results.
Success is not about luck it is about showing up consistently, staying true to my values, and being ready when opportunity knocks.
I’m inspired by entrepreneurs, the dreamers, builders, and problem-solvers who take the risk to create something from nothing. I’ve seen firsthand how small businesses can change families and communities. That drives me to give them the tools, strategies, and financial clarity they need to succeed.
