Hi Cheri, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
We relocated to the Atlanta area from Boston for a job, unfortunately after 2 years I was laid off. My daughter had both done the Disney college program and so I had started helping friends plan their trips which eventually turned in to a side hustle. With the job market being as tough as it can be I invested in my lovel of travel full time. And am now working as and IC focusing on Europe, Cruising, All inclusive Caribbean and of course I still do Disney vacations.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Any small business has its share of struggles as you are one person wearing all the hats. From sales and service to daily operations, marking you name it. I had to take a step back to help my father who was ill and the ultimately handle his estate and so my business went in the back burner. This year we reinvested, I got my certification, continue to focus on education opportunities and am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Although the hardwork is there 24/7.
