Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Chelsea Martin-Bucci.
Dr. Chelsea, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I graduated from the University of Alabama in 2010, yet still wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to do with my life, so I moved to Pensacola, FL and lived the beach life for a couple of years. It wasn’t until I was in Atlanta for Music Midtown in 2013 that I decided what my next steps were. I saw a billboard for Life University’s chiropractic school and decided that weekend that was what I was going to do next. I started the program exactly a year later and graduated in June 2018 and have been practicing chiropractic since. It wasn’t until the end of 2024 that I got the nudge from the universe to go out on my own. I had been in the same 2 offices since graduation, but it was time for me to create the space that had become the constant driver of my thoughts. I found the perfect location close to home and we (my wife, daughter, and I) began the process of creating Climb Chiropractic. I opened the door to Climb Chiropractic in April 2025 and it’s been a dream come true, of course, not without its ups and downs. I’ve grown in more ways than one in these last 6 months, and I cannot wait to see how the next 6 go!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I will admit I was not prepared for all that came with creating a business. This was my first time doing anything like this and that came with challenges. I’ve always kind of been one of those people that are good at most things they try. I thought that track record would carry me through this as well, but I was quickly humbled by the work needed to be done in order for this new venture to work. I looked around at other business owners like, “If so-and-so can do, it can’t be that hard…” and that mindset totally shifted soon after beginning the process. One of the hardest parts of the journey has been getting the word out there that we are where we are. I chose to put Climb Chiropractic in a small office building with about 7 other businesses. We have our own entrance on the side of the building (that I love!) but that makes visibility and foot traffic from other businesses close by difficult. Other challenges have just come with the logistics of creating a business and filings with the state and county and just making sure we operate legally! Like I’ve been saying from the beginning, just a few growing pains!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
As of now, I am the owner and only practitioner of Climb Chiropractic. I intentionally chose a small, street-level office with windows in each room to create a calm, welcoming environment that feels personal and peaceful from the moment you walk in. Our goal was to design a space where patients not only feel heard but also feel their nervous system begin to relax as soon as they enter. We tailor care to each individual’s unique needs, spending more time with patients so they feel truly seen and supported. Our approach focuses on the whole body: addressing physical, emotional, and chemical/environmental factors that impact overall health.
We offer specialized therapies including:
Cranial Facial Therapy (CFT): A gentle, hands-on technique that helps release tension patterns in the body, especially around the head and spine, supporting better nervous system function and emotional regulation.
Neuro Emotional Technique (NET): A mind-body approach that helps identify and release stress patterns and emotional blocks that may be affecting physical health.
To support deeper healing, we also offer:
Infrared Sauna: A gentle heat therapy that supports detoxification, reduces inflammation, promotes circulation, and helps the body relax at a cellular level.
BrainTap: A guided brainwave entrainment technology that uses light and sound to help the brain achieve deep states of relaxation, focus, and balance — ideal for stress relief, sleep, and mental clarity.
Everything we offer is grounded in our belief that healing happens when all aspects of the body — structural, emotional, and chemical — are addressed together. We’re here to support that process in a space that feels safe, intentional, and soothing.
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Risk-taking, for me, is kind of built into how I’m designed to move through life, but it’s always intentional. As a Manifestor in Human Design, I tend to follow my inner urges and act when I feel a deep pull towards something. I usually don’t wait for permission and don’t need a full blueprint before I act. When something feels right, I move on it, even if it’s a bit outside the norm. Overall, I believe in taking risks, but only when they’re deeply aligned, thoughtfully considered, and part of something meaningful. I’m not afraid to leap, but I make sure the leap serves a real purpose.
