Daily Inspiration: Meet MICHAEL EWING

Today we’d like to introduce you to MICHAEL EWING.

Hi MICHAEL, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Ewing Motor Company was established in 1979 in Buford, Georgia by my father Mike Ewing. I am the second generation owner now and I started my way from the bottom washing the entire lot of cars. We credit our success by being honest, taking care of our customers, and by treating everyone as fairly as we would want to be treated. Myself and our employees take a lot of pride in the appearance of our vehicles and our facility. We have several lenders in house and promote a no hassle buying experience without all the high pressure.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Working next to my Father hasn’t always been easy. I learned everything I know about the car business from him. However as the times have changed so has our business. The internet changed the car business, and then in 2007- 2008 we had the recession, and then in 2019 we had covid. So the car business has seen some turbulent ups and down. We have have weathered many storms but the work ethic and handling our business the right way is the key to our success.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Our desire is to make car buying easy!!! Most people hate shopping for cars because of the games dealers play. At Ewing Motor Company we provide transparency and no pressure buying experience. Every deal starts and ends with a hand shake and we let the quality of our vehicles speak for themselves. Being in the business for 46 years in the same town is quite an accomplishment. Being honest and taking care of our customers is what sets us apart from our competition.
