Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalie Forte.
Hi Natalie, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’ve been obsessed with food since childhood. As a pre-teen, I was rewarded with an entire peanut butter pie for a good report card. College? I mean, buffets for every meal! It’s no wonder I gained the Freshman 15. Papa John’s Pizza never tasted so good than at 2 a.m. after a long night of chugging Natty Ice.
After years of yo-yo dieting in my late teens/early 20’s like SlimFast, Metabolife (my heart rate went nuts!), the Grapenuts diet and the “just eat PowerBars” diet, I was constantly hungry and frustrated. And guess what? None of them worked.
I finally ditched the diet rollercoaster and figured out how to enjoy food and feel good in my body in my mid-20’s. I learned to look at food as fuel, tasty fuel and adopted the 80/20 lifestyle. You know, eat nutrient dense foods 80 percent of the time and 20 percent is saved for life (ex girls weekends, going out to dinner etc).
My love for food led me to a career in television, where I hosted a national food and travel show on Cooking Channel called America’s Best Bite, cooked on Home & Family, the popular Hallmark Channel show, and even ate outrageous meals like Cheeseburger Lasagna on Epic Meal Empire on FYI.
But when I became pregnant, I knew I wanted to do something with more meaning and help women/mother’s feel good and energized in their bodies and minds without guilt, stress or endless restrictions.
My passion in life is to help mothers prioritize their overall well-being, so they can feel more energized, empowered and joyful in their lives.
Now, as a Certified Holistic Health Coach, I help busy moms break free from diets, manage stress and create simple wellness routines that actually work. You can feel amazing, have energy, and still eat the foods you love—because this mom is never giving up chips, guac & margaritas. EVER.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’ve stopped and started my coaching career a few times while raising babies. My husband worked 14-16 hour days and I had two little kids at home. It was really hard to prioritize work and helping mothers when I was struggling myself. Now with both kids in school full-time, I’m able to dedicate that time to coaching and growing a business, while also balancing mom-life.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
About My Business:
I’m a certified health and wellness coach who helps busy moms find their energy again, balance their blood sugar, and feel confident in their bodies without extreme diets or overwhelm. My approach is all about real life — simple, sustainable habits that fit into motherhood instead of fighting against it.
What I Specialize In / What I’m Known For:
I specialize in helping women reduce sugar cravings, balance hormones, and create healthy routines that actually last. My clients know me for breaking down nutrition in a way that’s approachable and doable — think easy, high-protein meals, smarter snacks, and realistic routines that make you feel good from the inside out.
What Sets Me Apart:
I’ve been where my clients are — juggling kids, work, and endless to-do lists while trying to feel my best. I make wellness feel fun, not stressful, and I’m all about giving women permission to take care of themselves without guilt. I don’t teach restriction — I teach balance, confidence, and consistency. I’m all about simplifying wellness for busy moms.
What I’m Most Proud Of (Brand-Wise):
I’m proud that my brand makes moms feel seen and supported. It’s not about perfection — it’s about progress and finding your energy again. Whether it’s through my challenges, coaching sessions, or free resources, my goal is always to help women feel empowered and capable of thriving, not just surviving.
What I Want Readers to Know:
I offer online and in person coaching programs, workshops, and resources that help women build healthy habits that stick. From balancing blood sugar and reducing cravings to creating simple morning routines and meal prep systems, everything I teach is designed to fit into busy mom life. My mission is to take the overwhelm out of wellness and show moms that feeling good doesn’t have to be complicated — it can actually be enjoyable.
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Even though I was a TV host, public speaking still makes me nervous b/c speaking into a lens is different than a group of people. Oh, and I had the incredible experience of attending the Royal Premiere of The Chronicles of Narnia in London where I watched a movie with the Queen of England sitting behind and above me. Still so crazy to me!
