Story & Lesson Highlights with Crystal Evans of Alpharetta

We recently had the chance to connect with Crystal Evans and have shared our conversation below.

Good morning Crystal, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What do you think others are secretly struggling with—but never say?
I think a lot of people are silently struggling with balance mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and financially. We live in a world that celebrates being busy and productive, but not enough people talk about the toll that constant pressure takes on our well-being.

Many are trying to hold everything together careers, relationships, self-care while feeling like they’re falling short in one area or another. There’s also this quiet struggle with self-worth, comparison, and feeling like you have to appear strong even when you’re overwhelmed.

From my experience in the fitness world, I’ve learned that most people just want peace, the ability to show up authentically without judgment, to manage stress in a healthy way, and to feel aligned mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. That’s why I focus so much on helping others find that balance and not just in fitness or nutrition, but in life as a whole.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Crystal Evans NPC body builder and founder of Bold by Crystal, a fitness and wellness brand dedicated to helping women of all shapes and sizes build strength, confidence, and balance from the inside out. I’m a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach, and my passion lies in creating sustainable transformations that go beyond the physical.

What makes my brand special is that we focus on the whole woman…..mind, body, and spirit. Bold by Crystal isn’t just about workouts or meal plans; it’s about teaching women to step into their power, prioritize self-care, and create a lifestyle that aligns with their goals and values.

Along with coaching and transformation programs, we’ve made a name with our athleisure wear and an all-natural supplement line, designed specifically to help women feel confident, supported, and strong in every stage of their journey. Whether it’s through activewear that moves with your body or supplements that fuel it naturally, Everything we create is rooted in empowerment, authenticity, and results that last.

Right now, I’m focused on continuing to grow the Bold by Crystal brand into a full wellness experience, bringing fitness, nutrition, mindset, and lifestyle together to help women redefine what “healthy” and “bold” truly mean for them.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
I believe what often breaks the bonds between people is jealousy, misery, and a lack of communication. When people operate from comparison or pain instead of understanding, it creates distance. Unspoken feelings and assumptions start to build walls, and before long, the connection that once felt genuine starts to fade.

On the other hand, what restores those bonds is accountability, self-awareness, and forgiveness. Taking ownership of your actions and being willing to look inward instead of pointing fingers is powerful. When both sides can communicate openly and choose grace over pride, healing becomes possible.

I’ve learned through coaching and personal experience that relationships, whether professional or personal thrive when honesty and empathy are present. It’s not about being perfect; it’s about being willing to grow together, even after things get difficult.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me everything success couldn’t. It taught me how to pause, how to pray, and how to keep showing up even when no one’s watching. Success feels good, but it doesn’t shape you the way pain does.

When you go through seasons of loss, disappointment, or struggle, you learn who you really are. You learn patience, humility, and how to rebuild from the inside out. I’ve had moments where I questioned my strength, my purpose, and even my direction but those moments became the foundation of who I am today.

Suffering gave me empathy. It gave me a deeper connection to the women I connect with because I understand what it feels like to break and to come back stronger. It taught me that grace and grit can coexist, and that sometimes God uses your hardest seasons to prepare you for the blessings you weren’t ready to hold yet.

Success might polish you…..but suffering? It builds you.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
Absolutely. What you see is what you get with me. The public version of me is the real me, it’s just the polished, purpose-driven version that shows up to serve others. But the heart, the energy, and the passion? That’s all real.

I don’t believe in creating a brand that feels separate from who I am. Bold by Crystal was built from my real-life journey my faith, my struggles, my wins, and my healing. I’ve been through enough to know that authenticity connects more deeply than perfection ever could.

I’m human. There are moments I keep private, times I need to recharge, refocus, or simply be still. But even in those quiet moments, I’m still me. The same woman who motivates others is also the one learning, praying, crying, and growing behind the scenes.

I think that’s what makes my brand real people can feel the truth behind it. I’m not here to perform. I’m here to pour.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace when everything around me is silent for just a moment and I’m home in my own space. There’s something about that stillness that centers me it’s where I can breathe, reflect, and just be.

I love those quiet moments when the noise of the world fades, and I can hear my own thoughts clearly. That’s when I reconnect with myself and with God. My peace lives in that stillness in the sound of nothing but calm.

Meditation has become a big part of that for me. It’s not just sitting in silence; it’s a space to realign my energy, to listen instead of always speaking, and to remind myself that peace isn’t found in that movement it’s found in awareness. Those moments of stillness are where I find my strength again.
