Life & Work with Mo Clark of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mo Clark.

Hi Mo, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’m a multi-talented media personality, journalist, publicist, and entrepreneur based in Atlanta, Georgia. Since making my mark in the summer of 2014, I’ve become a familiar face in Atlanta’s vibrant entertainment scene—known for my energy, creativity, and dedication to the culture.

I started my journey as a party and event promoter, curating unforgettable experiences across the city. My passion for connecting people and creating moments caught the attention of local media, leading me to join a local internet radio show in 2016. What began as a rotating host opportunity quickly evolved into a full-time position, where I stayed until January 2019. That experience sparked my love for media, journalism, and storytelling.

As a writer for Kontrol Magazine and other outlets, I’ve had the honor of interviewing celebrities and covering major events that highlight excellence in entertainment and entrepreneurship. In 2017, I released my first official calendar and became a published model with FB Studios of Atlanta. Since then, I’ve appeared in several short series, including Music and Murder, Shared Feelings, and Just Ask Joe.

In 2014, I also launched my own lipstick line—a brand that’s since expanded to include lashes and an array of vibrant lipstick shades and textures. Even while juggling multiple ventures, I created my own radio show, DaPostUp, which has since grown into a full-fledged television show on Status Network’s Global Vision TV, keeping audiences up to date on Atlanta’s hottest stories and trends.

Today, I continue to expand my footprint as a journalist and contributor for publications like Upscale Magazine, SHEEN Magazine, FEMI Magazine, and In The City Magazine. Through my red-carpet interviews, I’ve had the pleasure of speaking with industry greats such as T.I., Zonnique, Shad Moss, Yung Joc, Dule Hill, Kirk Franklin, Day 26, and many others.

Beyond media, I’m also a published author. My first guidebook, HustleHer’s Playbook: A Guide for Boss Babes to Earn Extra Income, was written to empower women to take control of their financial freedom and tap into their full potential.

Every project I take on—whether it’s hosting, writing, producing, or creating—is rooted in purpose. My mission is to inspire others to chase their dreams relentlessly, walk in faith, and know that no hustle is too small when it’s driven by passion. I’m proud to be a voice, a connector, and a creative force within Atlanta’s ever-evolving entertainment landscape.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The journey has been both smooth and challenging. Along the way, I’ve learned that growth comes not only from what you bring to the table but also from the lessons life teaches you in real time. Some of my struggles have included not always making the best choices—personally or professionally—staying in partnerships or situations longer than I should have, and at times, investing in people or projects that weren’t aligned with my purpose.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a journalist, host, media correspondent, and publicist — but more than anything, I’m a connector. My work revolves around storytelling, elevating brands, and creating meaningful visibility for people and projects that deserve to be seen. What truly sets me apart is my heart for helping others and my relentless work ethic. I genuinely want to see people win.

I take pride in not just doing the work, but also sharing the knowledge I’ve gained along the way. Whether it’s mentoring, offering insight, or simply supporting someone’s vision, I believe success is even more powerful when it’s shared. I strive to deliver excellence in everything I do, from communication to client experience. I’m human—I have good days and hard days like anyone else—but my resilience, faith, and passion keep me moving forward. No matter what, I always pick myself up and continue to root for others while showing up for myself.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I can’t predict the future, and honestly, I’m okay with that. I just pray for greater discernment and for everything ahead to be better than what’s been behind me. Over the years, I’ve learned to trust the process—my expectations are often exceeded simply because I lead with faith and follow where I’m divinely guided to go.
