Today we’d like to introduce you to Rahul Agarwal.
Hi Rahul, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My story really starts when I was four years old. My dad passed away, leaving my mom to raise me and my younger brother on her own. We were in a tough spot, and while some of our extended family came from India to help for a while, they eventually had to go back, so it was just the three of us, figuring things out one day at a time.
My mom didn’t even know how to balance a checkbook back then, but she was determined that our lives wouldn’t be limited just because she was a single mom. She learned how to run a small business selling rugs in Miami and turned it into something special. I watched her pour herself into helping people find the perfect rug to make their house feel like a home. She worked hard, laughed often, and somehow made the impossible look effortless.
That same spirit shaped me. She also made it a priority for us to experience the world: The Great Wall of China, Paris, Switzerland, Canada, Hawaii, and of course, Disney. Those trips taught me that adventure isn’t just about where you go, it’s about how you see the world.
Now, as a travel concierge, I get to help others experience that same joy and wonder. I love planning stress-free, detailed, and downright fun adventures that help people reconnect with the world, with each other, and sometimes even with themselves.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Definitely not a smooth road, but honestly, I wouldn’t trade the bumps for anything. Losing my dad when I was four changed everything. We were an immigrant family, with my mom trying to make sense of a brand-new country, culture, and life, all while grieving. My mom had to figure everything out from scratch, and that meant we did too. There were plenty of times when things felt uncertain, tight, or overwhelming. But those early years taught me resilience and how to find joy even when the circumstances weren’t easy.
Even now, working in the travel world has its own set of challenges. Running a business that depends on things like global stability, flight schedules, and world events means you’re always one canceled trip away from chaos. There have been slow seasons, setbacks, and those “what am I even doing?” moments.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a travel concierge, basically, your go-to person for making vacations actually feel like vacations. I help people plan trips that are stress-free, intentional, and packed with the kind of moments you’ll still talk about years later.
I specialize in curated experiences that balance adventure, culture, and comfort. Whether it’s a once-in-a-lifetime rail journey through the Canadian Rockies, a Disney trip that doesn’t leave you exhausted, or an all-inclusive escape that actually lives up to the pictures, I help people find what fits them best.
What I’m most proud of isn’t just the trips I plan, but the relationships that form along the way. I get to walk with people as they dream, schedule, and experience something new, and seeing them light up when it all comes together never gets old.
What sets me apart? My approach. I’m casual, fun, and real, but I’m also detail-obsessed. I’ll remind you to pack a backup charger, tell you where to get the best local coffee, and make sure you don’t miss the hidden gems everyone else walks past. My goal is simple: to take the stress out of travel so you can actually enjoy it.
At the end of the day, I don’t just book trips; I help people have fun in life again.
So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
The best way to work with me is simple: reach out and let’s dream a little! Whether you know exactly where you want to go or need help figuring out what kind of trip fits your season of life, I’m here to make it happen. I love helping people go from “I need a break” to “That was the best trip ever.”
You can work with me one-on-one to plan your next adventure, whether that’s a family vacation, a cruise, a bucket-list trip, or even a group getaway. I handle the details so you can show up and enjoy the experience.
If you want to collaborate, I’m always open to connecting with other travel professionals, content creators, and brands that value authentic experiences over cookie-cutter itineraries.
And honestly? The best way to support me is to spread the word. Tell your friends, share your experience, tag me in your travel photos, that means the world to me.
Travel has the power to bring joy, connection, and perspective back into people’s lives, and I feel lucky that I get to be a small part of that.
