Today we’d like to introduce you to Shara Shaw.
Hi Shara, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
After graduating high school in Mobile Alabama c/o 99 I attended Miles College to pursue a career in Journalism, I later decided to embark on a passion of mine and enrolled into beauty college (SouthEastern School of Cosmetology) I excelled and became one of the most trusted beauty professional in my area. I’ve been in the beauty industry for 20 years and have serviced countless ladies and gentlemen from celebs to everyday people. I am a Master Cosmetologist, Professional Makeup Artist and adding beauty and business consulting in 2026.
This was always a dream of mine that came true and I’m still soaring higher to unlock more possibilities.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being an entrepreneur has not been easy, I opened my first large beauty salon in 2023 while only being open for 6 months, I separated from my husband and became a mother for the first time, with so much so fast happening, I closed my business to focus on the new title of Motherhood.
After sometime I am now re opening my books for full time beauty and business consulting, rather it’s beauty services being rendered or helping other entrepreneurs make a mark in this industry.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I offer beauty services from hair cuts to makeup application, and anything in between. I specialize in short hair cuts and healthy hair. I am known for my flexibility and remarkable customer service, I am most proud of the resilience that I have to continue in a gift that was given to me by God despite challenges.
I am able to transform clients into the best version of themselves one head at a time and that sets me apart from others.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
I contribute most of my success to my family for always supporting me in my endeavors, countless clients (too many to name) that has trusted me to bring visions alive and that in itself has helped me to become one of the greats, last but certainly not least, the great creator who put this gift in my hands and heart.
