Life & Work with Alexia Vereen of Jonesboro, Ga

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexia Vereen.

Hi Alexia, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Innovated by V has been part of me since childhood. Before I knew what marketing or design were, I was a 10-year-old with her first pink Dell laptop, endlessly recording videos, writing stories, and dreaming of creating. My curiosity and creativity guided me through journalism, social media, and even teaching, always leading me back to communication, storytelling, and connecting with people.

By the time I entered college, I discovered business and marketing were where my passion truly lived. I loved building websites, planning events, and creating campaigns—work that combined strategy with creativity. Along the way, I learned the importance of showing up consistently, setting boundaries, and protecting my vision. Moving to Georgia crystallized it all: I didn’t have to sacrifice joy to succeed. I could build a life that felt soft, intentional, and fulfilling.

Today, as founder of Innovated by V, I help entrepreneurs grow without losing themselves in the process. My work isn’t just digital marketing—it’s a support system rooted in community, time, and growth. I wake up every day eager to create, learn, and uplift others, because when you surround yourself with good people and move with intention, anything is possible.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not exactly—but I’ve learned that things feel smooth when I intentionally put myself in environments that align with me, just as I show up for them. After college, I faced a period of uncertainty: the couple I had planned to work for as their project manager/marketer promised opportunities and stability, only to have those promises fall through weeks before graduation. I had to pivot quickly, landing a receptionist role at a design company, which ended up being a challenging environment. Navigating difficult coworkers, conflicting management styles, and personal overcommitments taught me the importance of boundaries, self-advocacy, and knowing my worth.

Georgia became a turning point. Running my cousin’s store gave me space to grow internally and rebuild confidence while learning the practical side of business. It’s also been a time of self-discovery—learning to honor my younger self, fill my own cup, and let the overflow reach others. At 23, I’m still figuring out what works for me and what doesn’t, but each experience has strengthened my clarity and resilience. Innovated by V has always been a source of joy and creativity, and the biggest challenge now is owning my light fully and showcasing all the ways I can serve as a woman of many hats.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
At Innovated by V, I help entrepreneurs and small businesses grow their digital presence with strategy, creativity, and intention. I specialize in digital marketing, branding, and content creation—helping clients not just “show up online,” but connect with their communities in meaningful ways. I’m known for blending creativity with practical strategy, making marketing feel approachable, tailored, and authentic rather than generic.

What I’m most proud of is creating a space where other entrepreneurs feel supported without sacrificing themselves. My work isn’t just about campaigns or content—it’s about building systems, sharing knowledge, and helping others shine while staying true to their vision. What sets me apart is my perspective as someone who’s worn many hats, navigated multiple industries, and understands firsthand how important community, boundaries, and intentional growth are. I don’t just provide services—I provide a digital support system that empowers others to thrive on their own terms.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
One thing I’d love readers to know is that my work is rooted in curiosity, creativity, and community. Beyond Innovated by V, I also explore storytelling and cultural projects through Neya Muse, one of my content creation platforms, which allows me to connect with people in different ways and deepen my understanding of how stories and ideas shape our lives. Every project I take on—whether digital marketing or creative content—is about helping others grow, shine, and feel supported while staying true to themselves.
