Rising Stars: Meet Enrique Fann of Stone Mountain

Today we’d like to introduce you to Enrique Fann.

Hi Enrique, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Ol’skool Flava is the brain child of my business partner Tyrese Ol’Skool. I came on board when she decided that she no longer wanted to work in a nightclub.
The Restaurant brick and mortar was established for Ol’skook Flava in started in 2015 however the actual business was running out of nightclubs 5 yrs prior. Today we are still treading the waters to remain operable and open. I have been acting since the age of 3 however due to low self esteem, I didn’t start to focus on that aspect of my life until I got older. My hopes are to use my celebrity status (though local and small) to gain customers and spread love through our food,

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The journey has been and still is very up and down. The has struggled and made it through the COVID pandemic, but the way the economy is changing combined with our location/distance its becoming harder and harder to stay afloat. As it pertains to my acting career, I am still filming and auditioning with hopes of gaining a main role someday.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Outside of co-owning and operatin my restaurant Ol’skool Flava, I am an actor and lip sync artist I’m a man of many hats, therefore I can step into a variety of arenas. I am most proud of raising my teenage sons to be business minded as well as street smart. What sets me aside from others is my heart. I see something in people that they cant see. I ultimately teach them how to be their best selves and they outgrow me and move on.

Any big plans?
My future plans are to expand my brands on all levels. I don’t believe in being put in a box nor limiting myself. One of my mantras in life is to Never Stop Trying. You’ll never know if something will work in your favor unless you try,
