Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Hi, my name is Alaysia Grant, and I’m the proud owner of Pure V Spa.
I started my business in 2020, but I’ve been in the beauty and skincare industry for about eight years. My journey began with a passion for waxing — I loved helping women feel more confident, especially those who wanted brighter, smoother skin with fewer ingrown hairs in their intimate areas.
As I worked with more clients, I realized that many women with melanin-rich skin struggled with hyperpigmentation and irritation from shaving. That inspired me to create a Vajacial treatment that could safely and effectively treat all skin types and tones. It took me about six months of research, testing, and perfecting to develop my signature technique and professional protocols.
That same method is what sets Pure V Spa apart today. I now teach hands-on classes for estheticians, showing them how to properly perform Vajacials and achieve real results for their clients.
We’ve also expanded our services to include intimate bleaching, continuing our mission to help women feel confident and beautiful in their own skin. And now, we’re taking things to the next level — preparing to franchise Pure V Spa and bring our signature experience to multiple locations.
By 2023, Pure V Spa had grown into a full storefront — open six days a week in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. None of this would have been possible without faith, dedication, and God’s guidance.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road.
When I first opened my storefront, I had never owned a business before, so there was a lot to learn. In the beginning, I was scammed out of nearly $20,000 by a bad contractor, which was a huge setback. But instead of giving up, my family stepped in — my mom and brother came together to help me rebuild. They were painting, doing the boards, setting up machines — literally helping me piece everything together.
I truly couldn’t have done it without them. That experience is what drives me today — I want to build Pure V Spa into something lasting, not just for myself, but to create generational wealth for my family.

Pure V Spa is a luxury vaginal skincare spa located in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. We specialize in intimate skincare services such as Brazilian waxing, Vajacials, intimate bleaching, and V-Steaming, with a mission to help women feel confident, comfortable, and beautiful in their most intimate areas.
What makes Pure V Spa stand out is our deep focus on vaginal skincare for all skin types and tones. I spent over six months researching and developing customized Vajacial treatments that safely address concerns like hyperpigmentation, ingrown hairs, and uneven skin texture—especially for women with melanin-rich skin, who are often overlooked in this industry.
We don’t just provide services; we educate. I now host hands-on training classes for estheticians around the country, teaching them how to properly perform Vajacials and intimate bleaching treatments while understanding different skin types and tones. It’s my way of giving back and helping others grow in this field.
What I’m most proud of, brand-wise, is how far we’ve come. I started Pure V Spa in 2020 after losing my job and going through personal loss. I opened my first suite alone, worked by myself for a full year, and built everything from the ground up—with the help of my family, who literally came in to paint walls, build furniture, and set up equipment. Now, we’ve grown into a full storefront open six days a week, serving hundreds of women each month.
At Pure V Spa, we believe beauty is more than skin deep—it’s about confidence, healing, and empowerment. And as we continue to grow, we’re now adding new services like intimate bleaching and preparing to franchise Pure V Spa to bring our signature experience to women across the country.
Our brand represents faith, resilience, and purpose. Everything we do is with love, quality, and care—and we’re just getting started.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I’m originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, but I moved to Atlanta, Georgia when I was nine years old with my mom and two brothers. My mom was ready for a fresh start and wanted something new for our family.
As a kid, I was always into dance and art — those were my favorite things growing up. When I was eleven, I joined the Boys and Girls Club in Marietta, which was such a blessing because my mom didn’t have a lot of help being in a new city with three kids.
Back home in Ohio, I loved drawing and writing poetry. In fact, I even won a Black History Month poetry competition once — that’s one of my favorite childhood memories.
