Community Highlights: Meet Flo Esho of The Easy Flow Life

Today we’d like to introduce you to Flo Esho.

Hi Flo, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I think my story is interesting because I never set out to be a business owner. I grew up around entrepreneurship with both my parents having their own businesses, but I thought I wanted the opposite. I was in corporate for more than ten years, and during that time, one of my roles was with a small company where it was just me, the founder, and two full-time team members. Because of that, I got to wear every hat in the business. I managed operations, marketing, and even personal support like hiring household help and planning detailed family vacations. Looking back, that experience shaped how I approach the work I do today.

Over the years, I became the go-to person in my circle for getting things done. I helped my husband set up and manage his art business, handled a friend’s first trade show, and supported another company in expanding from B2B to also include a B2C leg of the operation. I was the person coordinating family trips, group events, and even my annual girls’ getaway. Supporting others, personally and professionally, has always been second nature to me.

What truly started my business, though, was a personal goal. I had always planned to surprise my husband with his dream trip to Japan for his 40th birthday, and a friend encouraged me to look into becoming a virtual assistant. She reminded me that I already did this kind of work for everyone else. I had never heard of that field before, but I took her advice, thinking it could be a way to earn a little extra income for the trip. That single step changed everything.

My first client led to another, and before long I was getting referrals, building systems, and creating something much bigger than I imagined. Today, The Easy Flow Life has grown into a full-fledged agency with a team of seven U.S.-based executive assistants providing high-touch business and personal support to founders, entrepreneurs, and small business teams. I could not be prouder of how far we have come in just over a year.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been a meaningful journey, but not without its challenges. Like most business owners, I have faced plenty of moments of self-doubt and second-guessing, especially around pricing, hiring, and how to position my brand. I think that is just part of the entrepreneurial process. You want to make the right decision from the start, so you overthink every move.

On a personal level, I launched my agency while five months pregnant, and that added a whole new layer of complexity. I was balancing a newborn, a five-year-old, and a brand-new business. I wanted to be fully present for my clients and my team while also being an attentive mother. Finding that balance has been one of my biggest growth areas.

Looking back, I am grateful for every hard moment. They taught me resilience, discipline, and how to give myself grace in the middle of building something new.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
The Easy Flow Life is a virtual executive assistant agency that provides what I call 360-degree executive support. Through what I’ve named the Flow Method, we support our clients equally in their business and in their personal life.

In most corporate settings, it is rare for an executive assistant to help with things like planning date nights, researching summer camps, or coordinating a ten-day family vacation. At The Easy Flow Life, we proudly do all of that because we understand that for small business owners, life and work are deeply intertwined. Our role is to support the human in between both worlds, and that is what truly sets us apart.

I am also very proud that we are a U.S.-based agency. Having assistants who understand the local business culture, time zones, and communication expectations makes a major difference in the level of support and responsiveness our clients receive. It allows our team to anticipate needs and provide the kind of partnership that feels seamless and proactive.

Beyond that, I take great pride in the caliber of assistants who represent this agency. Every contractor goes through a three-step vetting process that includes a paid test project because I want to be completely confident that each assistant reflects our brand of excellence. They are proactive, strategic partners who add value from day one and require very little hand-holding. Our clients often tell us that their assistant has become an extension of their leadership team, and the consistent referrals we receive speak volumes about the trust we have built.

Our core offering will always be 360-degree executive support, but we have also expanded to include a few tailored services such as VIP Strategy Intensives for workflow optimization, on-site executive concierge support for retreats and events, and placement services for clients who want to hire their own assistant. All of our services share the same purpose: to help high-achieving leaders experience more clarity, ease, and flow in both business and life.

What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is that my clients can finally breathe. I want them to feel clear, supported, and free to focus on what truly matters, spending time with their families, growing their businesses, and enjoying the life they have worked so hard to build.

Equally, I care deeply about the experience of my assistants. I want every member of my team to feel respected, appreciated, and cared for. The culture we are building is one where everyone feels seen and valued for the excellence they bring.

On a personal level, what matters most to me is balance. I want to be a present wife and mother, and a role model for my children. I want them to see that it is possible to be successful without sacrificing your health, your peace, or your relationships. That belief guides every decision I make in business and in life.
