Hi Tremesia, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started doing candles back in 2023 it’s something that I did off and on. I really liked doing it more than other things it was just something I would work really hard on vs working hard anywhere else lol. I feel like where I’m at now it’s better than before I’m Finally getting back into things finding my audience and my niche I’m always looking for customers who appreciate my work
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it definitely hasn’t. There’s been times and there are still times now where I get very discouraged when business isn’t going the way I want it to or my products aren’t selling as fast. Especially when you feel like you have nobody close to you supporting you. I just tell myself have faith in me and put god first not with just business but in all aspects of life.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I make any types of homemade candles, if you want personalized. Desert candles food candles anything you name it I’ll make it. I feel like my candles are very different from others, I make candles look like delicious sweet treats and I hear people tell me they’ve never seen something like this before so that’s what makes me keep going and put all my hard work into it.
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
What I like about my city is that it is a city for entrepreneurs, but I can go on and on about what I don’t like. What I like least about Atlanta is that if you’re an upcoming entrepreneur or trying to get your business up the support is very mild you have to have a certain amount of followers or certain people buying from you to really make reoccurring sales
