Hi Anthony, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Opened my Salon in 1996. Started my education provider company in 2012. After seeing a pattern of hair loss issues in some of my female clients, I embarked on getting training in the area of Trichology. I am now a Certified Trichologist Practitioner. I now offer Hair loss services and Treatment plans for my clients experiencing this issue. I’m an educator in the field of Cosmetology and offer CEU courses to help other professionals advance their skills.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No the road has not been easy. Having adequate funding to expand and update equipment. I had to be patient with the process. Finding professional staff has been a challenge also. Many have awesome styling skills but lack professionalism and many did not have State Certification which could put my business in jeopardy.

We offer a variety of styling, cutting, color, and hair loss services. I provide all services with the exception of artificial hair styling (braiding, weaving, etc.). Due to my knowledge of the hair, product knowledge, and the different types of hair loss, my clients started calling me the “Hair Doctor”. This name has stuck and now my products are called Hair Doctor Professional Hair Care. What sets me apart in my area is that I offer a calm and professional environment in my business and because of my skill set my clients and others trust my expertise and it shows in my reviews. I’ve done many lectures and seminars. I also created a summer program for kids teaching them basic styling skills which they can do at home. Many kids that attended the camp either went on to Cos school or did hair in High School and college. Very proud accomplishment. Most proud of my product line formed in 2021. Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Not only do I sing, I’m a drummer and a bassist. I enjoy music it helps me relax.
