Today we’d like to introduce you to Nikki Raymond.
Hi Nikki , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve been in the health and fitness space for over 20 years. I originally started out as a nutritionist, helping people dial in their nutrition and optimize their health through food and lifestyle changes. Very early on, I realized there was a massive gap when it came to truly optimizing health — especially around hormones and gut health.
That realization pushed me to go back to school for Functional Medicine, where I dove deep into holistic healthcare and root-cause healing. That’s when everything changed — both for my clients and for me personally. I had my own journey with gut health issues and hormonal imbalances, and going through that process firsthand gave me an entirely new level of empathy and purpose.
Today, through Xperience Health, I get to help others reclaim their energy, balance their hormones, improve their gut health, and optimize every aspect of their lives — from the inside out. When people come to me saying they “just don’t feel right” and their doctors tell them, “Your labs look fine,” that’s when they end up in my office. And together, we uncover what’s really going on and create a plan that transforms their health and their confidence.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The Struggles Behind the Success
Balancing mom life with entrepreneurship has been one of the greatest challenges of my journey. There were seasons when I felt stretched thin — trying to be fully present for my family while also building a business that demanded every ounce of my energy, time, and heart. There were moments of guilt, exhaustion, and questioning if I could truly do it all. But over time, I learned that balance isn’t about perfection — it’s about alignment, priorities, and giving yourself grace through the process.
On top of that, being a female in a largely male-dominated industry — especially in the hormone replacement space — hasn’t been easy. Early on, I faced skepticism, dismissal, and moments where I had to fight to have my expertise respected. But those challenges fueled my determination to educate, empower, and pave the way for women to have a stronger voice in this field.
There were times I battled burnout, self-doubt, and the constant pressure of wearing so many hats — coach, competitor, practitioner, and business owner. Building Xperience Health from the ground up came with its own hurdles, but it also became my purpose. I wanted to prove that functional medicine, hormone optimization, and holistic wellness can coexist with science, data, and results — and that women belong in leadership roles in this space.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
At my core, I help people transform their health from the inside out. Through Xperience Health, we specialize in functional medicine, hormone optimization, peptide therapy, and advanced health diagnostics — but what truly sets us apart is how personalized everything is. We don’t guess; we test. Every program we build is based on data — from full functional blood panels, gut testing, and DEXA scans, to lifestyle and mindset coaching — so our clients can finally get real answers and lasting results.
What I’m most proud of is creating a space where people can finally feel seen, heard, and understood. So many of our clients come to us saying they’ve been told their labs are “normal,” yet they still feel off. At Xperience Health, we dig deeper. We find the “why” behind their symptoms and help them heal their metabolism, balance their hormones, improve gut health, and ultimately feel like themselves again.
I’m also incredibly proud of the culture we’ve built — one that helps people find freedom with food instead of fear. I want my clients to understand how to fuel their bodies for energy, longevity, and performance — not restrict or punish themselves. It’s about creating a lifestyle that’s sustainable, empowering, and rooted in self-respect.
On a personal level, becoming an IFBB Pro in the Wellness division has been one of my proudest achievements. It represents years of discipline, resilience, and learning how powerful the human body can be when fueled and trained with intention. It also gives me a unique perspective — I understand both the science and the mindset it takes to optimize your body while keeping your health at the forefront.
At Xperience Health, our mission is simple: to bridge the gap between traditional and functional medicine — helping people not just live longer, but live better.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most to me is empowering people to take back control of their health and their voice. We live in a world where it’s not easy to be healthy — where quick fixes, misinformation, and overbooked doctors make people feel unheard, dismissed, or broken. I want to change that narrative.
So many people walk around every day feeling “off” — tired, bloated, anxious, or disconnected from their bodies — and they’re told their labs look fine. To me, that’s not acceptable. My mission is to help people understand that their symptoms are not something to ignore or mask, but a message from their body that something deeper needs attention.
What drives me is watching someone go from hopeless and frustrated to confident and thriving — to see them finally feel at home in their body again. Whether it’s through optimizing hormones, healing the gut, or simply teaching someone how to fuel their body without fear or confusion, I want every client to walk away feeling educated, empowered, and in control.
At the core, this work is about freedom — freedom from dieting cycles, from energy crashes, from being dismissed or told “it’s just stress.” It’s about helping people understand that health isn’t luck — it’s a skill. And once you learn how your body truly works, you can rewrite your story and live fully.
That’s what matters most to me. Helping people reclaim their power, their health, and ultimately, their life.
