Lifetime Youth Learning Center LLC was founded from my passion for nurturing, educating, and empowering young children in a safe, family-centered environment. As a mother, grandmother, and lifelong caregiver, I always dreamed of creating a place where children could feel loved, supported, and inspired to learn every day.
In 2017, my daughter and I opened Lifetime Youth Learning Center in Union City, Georgia, starting with just 18 children and a vision built on faith and determination. Through hard work, commitment, and a heart for service, our center quickly grew. By 2019, we were licensed to serve 33 children, expanded our classrooms, and built a strong, dedicated team of educators who share the same love for children that I do.
This journey has not been without challenges. While building this business, I was also the full-time caregiver for my husband, who was battling lung cancer. He passed away in 2018, but his encouragement, wisdom, and belief in my vision continue to guide me every single day. Much of the success of Lifetime Youth Learning Center is rooted in his faith and support.
What makes this center even more meaningful is its location — the very building that houses our program sits on the same grounds my mother once walked through as a young girl in the 1970s on her way to school. It’s truly a full-circle moment that represents legacy, love, and growth through generations.
Over the years, our center and staff have been recognized for excellence and dedication. We were proudly honored by KISS 104.1 and received a $500 award, and our team was selected as a Georgia DECAL Top Teachers Finalist, also awarded $500 for our outstanding service and commitment to early education. We are also proud to maintain a five-star rating on Google, which reflects the trust and satisfaction of our families and community.
Today, Lifetime Youth Learning Center stands as a symbol of faith, perseverance, and purpose. We continue to grow, offering high-quality childcare and early learning experiences that prepare children for lifelong success. As we move forward, we’re expanding into our next chapter with the launch of Lifetime Learning Academy, serving Pre-K through 2nd grade — continuing our mission that learning truly lasts a lifetime.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The journey has definitely not been a smooth road, but every challenge has strengthened my faith and commitment to this work. When I first started Lifetime Youth Learning Center, I didn’t have all the resources or guidance that many businesses begin with — but I had a vision, determination, and the will to create something meaningful for children and families in my community.
One of the biggest struggles came early on while I was establishing the center and caring for my late husband, who was battling lung cancer. Balancing the emotional and physical demands of caregiving while managing a new business was one of the hardest seasons of my life. There were many days I had to hold back tears just to stay strong for my staff and the children. When he passed in 2018, I was heartbroken, but I knew I had to continue — because he believed in this dream just as much as I did. His encouragement and wisdom still guide my decisions today.
Running a childcare center also comes with daily challenges — from staffing and meeting state regulations to earning the trust of parents and maintaining quality education. There were times when enrollment dropped, when I worked long nights cleaning and preparing classrooms myself, and when financial setbacks made me question if I could keep going. But giving up was never an option.
Through faith, hard work, and community support, we overcame each obstacle. Today, those struggles have turned into victories — our center has been recognized by KISS 104.1, honored as a GA DECAL Top Teachers Finalist, and proudly holds a five-star rating on Google. Those honors remind me that every sleepless night and every tear was worth it.

Lifetime Youth Learning Center LLC is a family-founded early learning program located in Union City, Georgia, dedicated to providing quality childcare and education for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. Our mission is simple — to build a safe, loving, and stimulating environment where every child can learn, grow, and feel valued.
We specialize in hands-on, developmentally appropriate learning that focuses on the whole child — nurturing not only academic readiness but also emotional, social, and creative growth. Our curriculum is aligned with Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS) and designed to prepare children for lifelong success, both inside and outside the classroom.
What truly sets us apart is the family-centered foundation on which this center was built. Lifetime Youth Learning Center was born from love, legacy, and perseverance. Brand-wise, I’m most proud that “Lifetime” truly means for life. Many of our parents started with us when their children were infants and continue through after-school care — because they know their children are in a place where learning, love, and structure go hand in hand.
As we continue to grow, we’re excited to expand with Lifetime Learning Academy, our upcoming private school for Pre-K through 2nd grade. This next step will allow us to continue nurturing children beyond early learning, preparing them for academic excellence and character development in a familiar, faith-filled environment.
At Lifetime Youth Learning Center, we don’t just teach — we plant seeds for the future. Our goal is to create lifelong learners, compassionate citizens, and confident children who believe in themselves.

This building is sentimental to me and family Before turning it into a learning center we used it for family gatherings and holidays before the passing of my husband.
