Today we’d like to introduce you to Samantha Dillinger.
Hi Samantha, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
What started out as a confusing youth filled with abuse and unique experiences turned into a dream I never imagined.
I started out wanting to go into nursing, turned out I was not emotionally or mentally mature enough to go that route; but I found a similar massage in massage. It gave me the ability to help people without confining myself within the strict rules of a hospital setting. After 6 years of terrible bosses and rules my friend Bre’Ann and I went into a shared space together.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely not! I cried every week the first 2 years convinced I was going to fail. My poor fiancé talked me off so many ledges on a weekly basis I think he considered what he got himself into at least three times.
Last year I decided to maintain the business while also attending full time EMT school and the 250 clinical hours it came with. I still don’t remember how I did it but I don’t remember doing much else.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
So I specialize in NMT, neuromuscular therapy. So essentially those stubborn knots you can’t seem to get rid of, as well as chronic pain. My clients are long term pain management most of the time.
I’m known for being “your friendly neighborhood butt rubber”! I love my community and do what I can to help it from business events to volunteer efforts.
I think what sets me apart is what I’m most proud of. I am who I am. I show who I am in everything I do and it’s a big reason why my clients have such trust in me. They’ll know if it can be done I’ll do it.
I mean…it doesn’t hurt I’m internationally award winning either.
I also just added Ms. Fillise to the team! She is a queen in her own right! 33 years in the game and the experience and skill that comes with.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
Oh god there’s so many, but I’d have to go with the classic Pokémon card pinned to the back bike wheel. There’s something about that time of being a kid. You were invincible.
