Today we’d like to introduce you to Toni Penn.
Hi Toni, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I moved to Atlanta, GA about 11 years ago to pursue my education at Gwinnett Technical College for Early Childhood and later obtained my Bachelors Degree at Georgia State University. Along my educational career path, it inspired me to focus on my goals to help the younger generation and create opportunities for growth within our community. I later gained my passion in Psychology and obtained my MBA in 2021. I now host Life Coaching sessions to inspire and motivate others to follow their purpose. After my father passed in 2020, it motivated me to write my first book called “If You’re Playing the Game of Life, You Better Be Winning”. This book empowers individuals to understand there is always a way to excel in life through life’s unexpected events. I went through a tough stage during the passing of my father, but by taking the steps needed to heal and following my purpose through God, it opened many doors while becoming an author. I later wrote my recipe book after giving birth to my son. So, yes. I have a true story to tell after overcoming life’s unexpected events to being blessed to being a mother and following my passion.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No the road has not always been smooth, but surly worth going down. I have overcome a lot of obstacles from giving birth to chasing my career. I knew by keeping the faith and continuing to move forward would not only make myself proud, but make my mom and dad proud of well. Now that I have a son, I want to make sure every move counts towards success and positivity.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
What sets me apart from others is that I never gave up even when life got hard. It’s easy to give up, but I am true go-getter who will always trust God to direct my path. I accomplished 3 degrees over 6 years, lost my father, had my first child, while all learning a new skill in Higher Education. I am currently a professional in Higher Education assisting students through financial aid and academic advising. Although, it sounds surface level, I change lives daily through counseling and being an advocate for all age groups.

I have several ways of contact through social media platforms and my website. Individuals can support me through my live sessions, my on-going post regarding adventurous recipes or by simply sending me an email to connect regarding business.
