Hi Monica, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
How I Got Started & Where I Am Today
I started in entrepreneurship as a little girl it’s truly all I’ve ever known. I’ve been an entrepreneur for over 26 years, and in the beginning, I opened and closed several businesses. I didn’t always know what would succeed, but I knew without question that I was called to be a business owner. Even before I turned 18, I was selling Mary Kay and Avon products under someone else’s name because I couldn’t wait to begin.
Over time, I launched more than 15 different ventures from boutiques to service-based companies. But about ten years ago, while co-owning a boutique called 2 Boutique, I had what I call my “aha” moment. Sitting at the checkout desk, I realized I wasn’t just called to start businesses I was called to birth them. I had been helping friends and family bring their ideas to life, and in that moment I heard it clearly: I am The Entrepreneur Midwife.
That revelation changed everything. I understood that many of the ideas God gave me weren’t meant for me to own long-term they were divine blueprints meant to help others. From that moment, I began documenting and developing those ideas to guide the entrepreneurs who would later come to me.
Today, I operate two companies: TEM Management, my business consulting and prophetic strategy firm, and Parrott Solutions, my behavioral health company. Together they allow me to merge faith, strategy, and structure helping entrepreneurs birth their businesses while maintaining mental and spiritual balance.
Through this journey, I’ve learned to discern which ideas are mine to execute and which are meant to be delivered through someone else. That awareness has deepened my relationship with God, strengthened my prophetic flow, and increased my ability to maintain focus leading to greater peace and profitability.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. My journey has been filled with ups and downs personally, professionally, and spiritually. As both a business consultant and a strategist who blends entrepreneurship with mental health, many of the lessons and strategies I teach today were born out of my own experiences and struggles. I had to live through those challenges so that I could authentically teach others how to overcome them.
There were seasons of financial strain, burnout, and even moments of questioning my purpose. But each time, I learned to pause and ask: Is this struggle a setback or a lesson? Over time, I began to notice that every difficulty was actually revealing a framework or “treatment plan” for entrepreneurs faith-based wellness and strategy tools to help business owners navigate cash-flow issues, staffing challenges, or loss of motivation.
What used to be my hardest moments have now become my greatest content. I built my consulting approach around these Entrepreneurial Treatment Plans practical, faith-anchored guides that turn crisis into clarity and pain into a plan. Those experiences not only strengthened my resilience but also shaped how I help others push profit and maintain peace at the same time.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
For me this journey has never been about luck. The only luck I can honestly say I’ve experienced is being lucky that God chose me to be The Entrepreneur Midwife. This calling is not random it is a divine and purposeful assignment. It is something that both excites me and humbles me at the same time.
Every part of my path from the successes to the setbacks has been intentional. I have learned that what most people call luck is often just alignment when preparation meets obedience. I do not rely on chance I rely on instruction discernment and the grace that comes with walking in purpose.
So while luck might open doors for some purpose sustains me. I am not just doing business I am fulfilling an assignment that impacts lives births visions and builds legacies.
