Meet Madison Reece of Jasper, Ga

Today we’d like to introduce you to Madison Reece.

Madison, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My story started at a young age, spending time in my grandma’s salon and watching her. She was a hairstylist and salon owner, and that’s where my passion for the industry began.

As I grew up, I started doing my cousins’ hair for homecomings and dances, then helped with hair and makeup for high school theatre productions. After graduation, I decided to turn that passion into a career and enrolled in cosmetology school.

Now, four years into my career, I’ve taken multiple master bridal classes and discovered my love for all things bridal hair. At 23, I took a leap of faith and opened my own salon. Today, at 25, I’m proud to own a salon and travel for more than 20 weddings a year, doing what I love most.

It’s been a rewarding journey, and I have been very blessed by all my amazing clients.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. In this industry, it’s so easy to compare yourself and your work to other stylists. It’s something I still catch myself doing sometimes, but I try to stay focused on my own path and remember that I’m good at what I do — just like everyone else in their own way.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?

I specialize in bridal hair and color services, and I’m best known for my boho braids and textured updos. Over the years, I’ve taken multiple advanced styling classes and had the opportunity to assist a well-known bridal stylist. I’m really proud of how far I’ve come as a stylist, both creatively and professionally.

What sets me apart is my focus on bridal styling. Not many stylists in my area specialize in it, so I love being able to help them look and feel beautiful.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
I would say the biggest way to support me and my business is simply just by sharing and reposting on social media platforms.
