Hi Veronica, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
In 2024 i decided to turn my passion for wine into a business. Thats when i created S.H.E. Worthy Wine. S.H.E. stands for Sisters Healing & Evolving. I did online training and got a certificate in wines of Georgia. The country not the state lol. I did a lot of reading and research about wine. I frequented wineries and wine bars often so i would ask a lot questions and take a lot of notes.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
This has not been easy. There is a lot to know about wine and how it’s made. There are do’s & dont’s in the process of making wine. In the beginning i messed up quite a few batches. One of the most important aspects of making wine is patience. This is not a process to be rushed. Also sanitation is very important. Sanitation affects how good a batch may be and how it taste.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in fruit wine but i make other wines as well. My best sellers are my Moscato & Strawberry Passionfruit. Most people when they hear Strawberry Passionfruit they think a very sweet wine but it’s actually not sweet. It’s a semi sweet wine.
How do you think about happiness?
Making wine makes me happy. Because when i make my wine I have the hard working woman in mind who needs a little escape from everyday life. When you sip my wine i want it to be like a vacation in a bottle.
