Hi April-ADionne, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey? Whew… where do I even start? Let’s just say I’ve lived a few lifetimes in one. After working more than 30 different jobs, wearing more hats than a fashion show, and relocating 56 times (yes, I counted — because who does that?!:), I realized all those moves weren’t random. They were divine training for purpose.
I grew up in Philly — in a rough neighborhood that taught me grit, faith, and how to dream beyond my zip code. Creativity was my therapy. I was that girl who could play sports, dance, model, sketch designs, and then turn around and write a song. My first entrepreneurial chapter was in fashion — stitching dreams into reality and fabric into confidence, one outfit at a time. At the same time, I was pouring my heart into music — writing, recording, performing, and living deep in the industry before launching my own independent record label (before YouTube existed). Music was my heartbeat, my release. But when I became a single mother, I traded the mic for motherhood — and that chapter became one of my greatest hits.
I also opened my heart and home to my Goddaughter, grandkids, foster kids, and a Pakistan Exchange student which taught me patience, empathy, and how healing begins with love.
Years later, I founded Regenerating Me, originally teaching entrepreneurship, meditation, journaling, fashion, and media to youth in urban schools, YMCA programs, and Boys & Girls Clubs. Watching those kids discover their purpose? That lit me up. My dream was to eventually teach those same principles inside juvenile centers in Pennsylvania. But right before that could happen, I felt a spiritual nudge — a call to Georgia. And when Spirit calls, you go, even if the GPS says “rerouting.” LOL
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Smooth? Oh, no — more like potholes, plot twists, and divine detours. LOL
As a single mom, life was full of transitions. When my son went off to college, I was so proud. Yet, right around that time, I thought I was doing all the “right” things, but then came the plot twist: life threw me a curveball — a major eviction that shook me to my core. I found myself at rock bottom. I ended up spending time in a homeless shelter, which was one of the most humbling experiences of my life. I lost what I thought was stability but gained something even greater — clarity. Because, even in that valley, I felt Spirit saying, “This isn’t the end — it’s your awakening.”
Shortly after I made one of the boldest moves ever — I checked myself into a meditation and yoga retreat for ten months. That experience cracked me wide open. It stripped away every label and reintroduced me to my true Authentic-Self.
While there, I studied Polarity Energy Healing, leading me to become a Level 3 Reiki Master, and learn EFT (Tapping). Through it all, Spirit quietly downloaded and gifted me my own signature intuitive healing modality technique — a blend of everything I learned and everything my soul already knew. That season changed everything. I stopped surviving and started aligning. It was like everything I’d ever lived — every heartbreak, every lesson, every relocation — was being rewired into divine purpose. For me to help people heal their energy, transform their mindset, and manifest the life they truly desire. It was there that I received the spiritual clarity that started the domino effect to rebrand Regenerating Me – Essentials into a full healing and empowerment hub.
Then came another evolution. I opened my first commercial spaces in Georgia. The first two were small — my blueprint phase — where I focused on crystal products, energy healing, and intuitive coaching. By the third commercial location, I went big and incorporated a Salt Therapy Lounge – a room full of Pink Himalayan Salt shipped in from the caves of Pakistan to help clients clear their lungs and breathe better. And a meditation lounge to assist clients with calming their mind and become one with self. I also gained a business partner during that time, but shortly after we opened, she followed her own dream and relocated — leaving me holding the salt shaker! LOL
Running everything alone was a challenge, but it taught me that the calling doesn’t leave just because circumstances change. When that chapter ended, I didn’t stop — I regenerated and transformed again. I relocated Regenerating Me to my home and created something even more powerful: a private, nature-infused retreat space on almost three acres of peace, purpose, and possibility in Conyers, Georgia.
That season taught me this: when purpose is calling, you don’t need a full team — just faith and consistency.
Now, I get to pour all that experience into helping others reset, refocus, and rediscover themselves

Absolutely! Today, I’m the founder of Regenerating Me Essentials and Regenerating Me Crystal & Salt Lounge Private Retreat in Conyers, GA — a SHOELESS, holistic wellness hub that helps people renew, reclaim, and transform their lives from the inside out.
Regenerating Me is no longer a typical Commercial facility. It is a special, intimate, peaceful, welcoming, APPOINTMENT ONLY, SHOELESS, PRIVATE HOUSE retreat. As my clients have described their experiences to me. It is located in the middle of quiet nature where you can be at one with yourself inside or outside the house. What sets me apart is that I don’t just teach healing — I’ve lived it. Every tool I use was tested in the fire of my own transformation. My background —30 plus jobs and positions, 56 relocations, from fashion, music, book author, and entrepreneurship to energy work and personal development — allows me to connect with people from all walks of life, whether they’re CEOs, Celebrities, Creatives, Traveling Nurses, Veterans, First Responders, Everyday Dreamers. etc.

More importantly I continue to assist people in healing from the inside out, and embracing their authentic soul.
At this stage of my journey, I see myself as both a healer and a connector — someone who bridges the gap between spirituality and real-world success. Yes — and I’m going to keep it real. Don’t chase connections; attract them by becoming authentic. When you walk in truth and purpose, the right people will recognize your light.
I’ve learned to be a student of the journey — because some of my greatest mentors never even knew they were teaching me. I learned through observation, humility, and alignment. And one thing I now know for sure: purpose can’t live in comfort. Every time I thought something was ending, it was really a divine reset — a regeneration.
Helping others heal doesn’t mean you have to be perfect — it means you’ve learned how to turn your pain into purpose and your lessons into light. That’s what Regenerating Me is all about.
My mission is to pour back into the people who always pour out — the leaders, the nurturers, the healers, the overcomers, the ones holding everyone else together. You deserve a space to simply be, to exhale, to laugh, release, and rediscover yourself.
